Best way to experience the wine country in St. emellion

A great way to see the countryside of St. emellion and the surrounding vicinity. We spent the day riding through beautiful and you're passing many of the well-known chateau's as well as well as local gems. The lunch and wine tastings were perfect and Kaio our guide was personable, knowledgeable and made the entire day memorable.

This was the highlight of our entire family trip to Bordeaux. Kaio our guide was fantastic, extremely passionate about wines, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the biking through the vineyards, the lovely pique-nique lunch at the chateau, the many wine tastings, and the visit of the caves, not to forget the lovely St Emilion visit. I would highly recommend this trip. It was enjoyable!

Highlight of our stay in Bordeaux

Our guide Matieau was incredible knowledgeable both on Bordeaux / Wine and the history of France. The picnic lunch was delicious, the bicycle ride was beautiful, and great wine tasting. So glad we booked this tour, it was a highlight of our trip for everyone in our group ages 14, 28 and three 50+.

Great tour, poor value

Both tour guides were excellent: very flexible, welcoming, friendly, perfect English, and clearly knew what they were showing us. However, at 169 euro I would expect the provided lunch at the first castle (under renovation) to be a little more than a shared cheese and charcuterie board, and to have had a bit more of a presentation of the wine rather than just accompanying the meal. We only saw the cellar of the first castle as that is where the e-bikes are kept. The bike tour itself was very nice, with a good distance covered and some great scenery. The second (and final) castle visit was better, with a real presentation of the wine and production by an employee. I could have sworn we were supposed to see 3 castles but the description now says otherwise. We then visited St Emilion itself which is beautiful and absolutely worth exploring. We were dropped off back by the tourism office downtown at the end of the day. Overall a nice trip (despite the rain), but definitely not worth the price tag, unless you are really scared of getting lost by trying to do it yourself. Most wineries will let you try wines for free when you visit their shop, and public transport in Bordeaux is great.

Organisation was great. Cycling through the wine yards was a wonderful experience as was having lunch in the chateau grounds. The guide, Mattheu was very helpful and knowledgeable. All rounds a great day out and good value for money.

Fabulous Countryside Vineyard Experience

One of the best experiences we have done. Groups are no larger than 8 in this tour so the logistics are simple and the tour feels almost private. Biking the vineyard is an incredible way to get started, lunch is picturesque at a chateau, learning about wines and tastings was great and you can ship wine from the second chateau, and lastly Saint Emilion was beautiful. Our tour guide Isabelle from La Francaise Bordeaux was absolutely lovely and brought energy to the tour. Would recommend!

What a gas!! One of the most amazing adventures and excursions we have every taken! The tour was informative, relaxing, and fun! The process from the start of the booking, meeting, and transportation to our first Chateaux to retrieve the e-bikes, it was a breeze. Remi our host was very kind, well versed in knowledge of Bordeaux, the wine region, the process of the wine making and genuinely cared about how we were doing and our comfort throughout our bike journey!
