What To Expect

Today you challenge your mind to an outdoor escape room in beautiful Breckenridge. Meet your gamemaster at Country Boy Mine and get ready to explore the Colorado forest armed with only your wit, your will, snowshoes, and a metal detector.

This real historic gold mine stretches across 20 acres of land, quite enough space for the miners in your fictional challenge to get lost in. You’ll race against the clock trying to determine where they went missing.

As you snowshoe your way to their last known location, you’ll solve clues and use your metal detector to find where they stashed their goodies…then keep them for yourself.

Abby was great with our group of kids, facilitating the outdoor escape room! The escape room had a range of puzzles that were challenging and could be completed by our children.

It was very enjoyable and engaging. I went with younger children and they found it to be a fun outdoor activity. The older people in the group also enjoyed playing the game and solving the puzzels and overall it was fun for everyone.

The treasure hunt was so much fun for our family of three. We enjoy visiting different escape rooms and this outdoor experience was just as enjoyable. Our guide was fantastic and the gift at the end of the hunt was a pleasant surprise.

Short staffed turned Amazing!!

We were originally booked for the outdoor escape room which looked to be a very good time. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond their control they were short staffed for the day and immediately shipped us to the gold mine tour and the ultimate extreme sledding experience. We could not have been happier with the changes made to our itinerary the tour was informative and interesting the kids loved it walking way back into an old cold mind. The sledding was unlike any experience we’ve ever had. If you like snow tubing this sledding you will absolutely love. The workers you could tell all obviously loved their jobs they were very accommodating professional friendly and sincerely wanted you to have the best experience with your family at their place. After a week of packed itineraries doing everything there is tour wise in this area this was hands-down the best place to visit.

Essentially an Outdoor Escape Room!

I booked this as a fun excursion for the family thinking my daughter would dig it. Turns out it was fun for the grown-ups as well. I definitely recommend this for families. It is essentially an outdoor escape room. Tips: bring shoes that can get dirty, bring water bottles. Make sure you say hello to the donkeys! Great time!
