I really love this tour! the places we have been are picturesque and views are amazing....especially the seaford where you can have a perfect view of the 7 sisters. Paul was lovely, witty and informative....worth what you paid for...

What a fantastic tour this was. Paul our host was excellent, very knowledgeable and fun. He made the trip so memorable , I'll never forget it. Seeing the country side of Sussex county was so cool and the lunch at the old farm was delicious. I highly recommend this tour, you will not be dissapointed.

Beautiful trip. Nick was an excellent tour guide. He share alot of history and interesting facts. He also made it fun and entertaining. He ensured that he spoke to everyone during the tour, which made everyone feel seen and comfortable. He went the extra mile to check if everyone knew how to get home from the drop off point.

Had the best time on this smaller tour. Learned a ton about the history of the area, and felt like we got to go places the bigger groups didn’t go. Went to middle farm for lunch which was absolutely fantastic. Even though it was a cold day, we enjoyed every second outdoors looking at the gorgeous landscapes

An excellent day exploring the South Downs National Park from Brighton. Adam was an excellent guide. Especially enjoyed the last stop with the best views of the Seven Sisters in the nature reserve. The lighting on the cliffs was perfect!

Mixed Feelings…Tour Description was False but Tour itself was Decent

This. tour was truly a mixed bag for me. The listing clearly stated that there was a maximum of “10” and that Covid accommodations were made stating “all middle seats were to be left open”. When I arrived there were just 2 others and then the guide said the train was going to have more (which was past the meeting time clearly stated and I believe there are many trains from London which WOULD of arrived on time) worse was that this added another 12 guests to the tour , 50% more than the stated 10 person maximum. This felt alot like false advertising to me and I don’t have much patience for that. I had recently had to extend a different trip due to sickness and it cost me over $1000 extra to do so. I specifically chose this tour based on the listing stating the protections they had in place. Of this extra 12 many had colds and coughs and I was forced to wear a mask the whole time to help prevent from catching. One of the 2 other early guests had just started her 3 week Europe trip and was ALSO very disappointed that the 10 maximum wasn’t followed risking her own trip, Lunch was also not done well as the operator just dropped us off and left for 45min which left us guessing what to do. I was first in line and was able to discuss with the lunch workers and help get us situated. Lunch was fine but this should been dealt with better by operator. The tour and sites were nice and luckily little rain and worth seeing so this was difficult experience to review. If it were to be raining I would say pass on this tour which is difficult to do since money is locked before you may know for sure about that weather.

Hi Jeff, We are sorry that you did not enjoy the tour as much as we hopped and we have responded to you directly to address your points. Viator has the last say on what goes on our listing. We have informed Viator on many occasions that covid restrictions are no longer in effect and our maximum group size is now 16. We have informed them again and hope they display the correct information. Sadly this is a recurring issue and Viator have been informed about this on numerous occasions. Once everyone is on the van and ready to go our drivers check in to let the office know, yesterday everyone was ready just 10 minutes after the meeting time. For the lunch we stop at the delightful Middle Farm. Middle Farm has a tea room serving light lunches and snacks and we drop right at the entrance and our driver pointed out where everything was. Our lunch stops are for 1 hour, giving you time to eat, drink and have a look around. You would also received a card to redeem a complimentary coffee or tea at the tea room. We are glad you enjoyed the rest of the tour. Taking in to account the issues you had we agreed on a 50% refund. We hope you enjoy the rest of your stay.

Our guide, Lawrence, was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was balanced well with nature walking, time for enjoying vistas, a bit of local shopping, and lunch at a farm cafe.

Fantastic day trip! Lawrence is an excellent tour guide, sharing the right amount of information at the right times. No goofy puns, no nonsense filler, just clear, relevant and always interesting insights. The sites are the real stars though, and they’re all must-see. Highly recommended!

I loved getting out of Brighton and connecting with nature on this tour. Our tour guide, Kevin was knowledgeable and a fantastic driver of our mini bus as we traversed tiny windy roads. The scenery was spectacular. The lunch stop at a small village was perfect as the participants could choose to eat a pub lunch, visit a tearoom, or purchase food at the village store deli and have a picnic. Many chances to have a toilet stop were given. This day trip is perfect for tourists, like me, who are not driving around England, but taking the train.

Kevin effortlessly transported from the busy Brighton to the rolling hills of the South Downs. The day flew by as we traveled all about. We Will remember this visit forever. Definitely a highlight of our visit. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic day-long tour! Our guide, Adam, brought a delightful blend of fun and expertise to the experience. His engaging narratives, weaving history and captivating mythological stories, added so much more fun to the trip. When arriving by train in Brighton, avoid leaving the station after exiting through the ticket gates. Instead, walk to the left and then to the rear of the station by taking the road adjacent to the tracks. We had come out of the station front and it was a bit tricky to figure out as the phone GPS didn't work.

Pick up at the hotel went smoothly. Our tour guide Paul was funny and very knowledgeable about the area. We saw all of the areas that were listed on the website with sufficient time to take photos and walk around. My only complaint is that the tour was advertised for a maximum of 6 guests, but our van had about 20 people on it.

Best day trip of our week! Adam is an amazing guide and kept us entertained the entire trip. He also went out of his way to drop a few of us off closer to the pier at the end (saving us the walk). There is a bit of walking (and climbing over a small gate) on this trip (some might consider it light hiking); in any case, good comfortable shoes are needed. This is a full day trip (drop off around 5pm), if you want to see other things in Brighton, check the closing times when planning your day.
