What To Expect

Your full-day tour starts with hotel pickup in the morning. During the drive to Mt Tamborine, relax in comfort in your air-conditioned minivan as your guide shares the history of Mt Tamborine’s wine industry.

Your tour includes tastings, with the chance to sip and learn about a range of red, white, and sparkling wines in a relaxed small-group setting. Your guide shares a deep knowledge about the vino you taste and the winemakers you encounter during stops at wineries such as Cedar Creek Estate, Mason Wines, and Witches Falls Winery.

You may also visit the tasting room of a charismatic husband and wife team who brew eaux-de-vie, schnapps, vodka, and other award-winning liqueurs and Tamborine Mountain Distillery

For lunch, dine on a delicious 2-course meal at a winery's restaurant. The menu features fresh produce, seafood, steak, pasta and other delectable dishes.

After an 8-hour tour, your guide returns you to your hotel in the early evening.

A most enjoyable day. Good value for money. The wineries we visited were excellent, lovely lunch, plenty of wine tasting too. Ari, the driver was fabulous, friendly and accomodating. Everyone on the tour got on well. I thoroughly recommend this trip.

Great day with vino wine tour

We enjoyed the entire tour. It was wonderful to be picked up from the hotel. We enjoyed everything from the winery stops thru the last stop for fudge tasting and ice cream. Our driver/tour guide, Ari was very professional and knowledgeable.
Not what I was expecting.

Not what I was expecting. Two of the three wineries just basically poured samples and did not talk about their wines, winery or anything. More like a land based booze cruise. Save yourself some money and just go buy a bottle of wine that you like and drink it in the comfort of your own surroundings.

Mount Tamborine was very beautiful and scenic. Driver was very friendly. Bus was a little run down. Only negative would be that there were no cheese and crackers provided on the tour, I thought being winery tour the snack may have been this but instead we were provided a small pack of chips from a share box!

Lower your expectations on the wines - all the tastings were not worth the long drive to Mt Tamborine. Not the operator's fault since Queensland is not known for their wines. The driver/guide Boris has a great sense of humor and kept the group entertained. Lunch (1 course, included) was surprisingly good especially the beef ccheek. Overall, I would not recommend doing this tour.

It was great to escape the city and see the beautiful countryside and hillside while tasting wine and spirits at the wineries and distillery, and enjoying a beautiful lunch. Ari was very informative and helpful.

The entire excursion was fun and enjoyable. Great wineries with knowledgeable staff. They really know their profession and want you to walk away with a better understanding of their passion for wine and liqours. Driver was very accomodaring and knowledgeable. Likes to tell some corney jokes, but makes the atmosphere fun. Really enjoyed my experience. Highly recommend it to anyone who is a connesure of wine and liqour. Cheers and good health!

Our driver, Harry, picked us up promptly and explained a few areas on the way. We met up with another group from the same company and it was fun to get to talk with everyone. Two of the wineries had a staff member doing the tastings and our driver did the third winery as well as the distillery- he was very knowledgeable and did a great job. Lunch was incredible! We also made a bonus stop at a cute little fudge shop. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic time on this wine tour, the tour guide Ari was brilliant and fun, the tour was informative and exciting and got to try some of the fantastic wine from the region. Would recommend anyone visiting Brisbane to go on this tour.

We had a great day out on the Tambourine Mountain wine tasting tour. The weather wasn’t great and our first stop had to be changed because of the rain, what a stroke of luck for us, we visited a fantastic place steeped in history and tasted some amazing wines and port. Purchasing a few afterwards! We then went on to the second where we also had a delicious lunch and then a third which was also great. All different but all enjoyable. Lastly we visited a distillery and tried some great liqueurs. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and our guide Barry was such a lovely man, he was so knowledgeable and looked after us so well. Thank you

Wine tour at Mount Tambourine

Our day tour with Pete to Mount Tamborine was a fantastic adventure filled with wine tastings and scenic mountain views. The first two wineries were fantastic, offering a palate-pleasing experience, though the third one fell short. Lunch was provided in a beautiful restaurant in the middle of the forest called Songbirds. However, Pete's thoughtful inclusion of two stops for scenic views of the mountains and the Gold Coast made up for it. The journey concluded with a pleasant surprise—a distillery visit that added a unique touch to an overall wonderful day. Pete's friendly demeanor and song trivia along the way back made this tour truly memorable.
