Not enough of Bucharest

I was expecting to see more of Bucharest, but we spent A LOT of time in the car driving to outlying sites that were just not worth it. We ended up taking a FAST walking tour around Bucharest that lasted about 1.5 hours with very little info provided. I did get a tour of the People's Palace, but I would recommend NOT leaving the city for minor sites.

The description of the tour states exactly what sites are included for Bucharest and that you are going to visit Snagov Monastery and Mogosoaia Palace which are in the outskirts of Bucharest. We have always been very flexible and if one of our guests wants to skip Snagov Monastery or Mogosoaia Palace or both, and focus more on Bucharest we can do that. Though our guests need to request that to us at the beginning of the tour. Wishing you safe travels!

Cosmin was a great guide who was extremely reliable and flexible. Though covering all sites within the time was not an easy task, cosmin ensured that he checked on our priorities first and planned the day accordingly. Cosmin was the saving grace given that not all attractions mentioned in the trip were worth it. Will recommend to people who intend covering most of bucharest attractions in a single day.

We were only in Bucharest for two full days and chose this tour to give us as full an experience as possible. We were not disappointed. Instead of being part of a large and impersonal group we were immediately at ease with Mircea and it was much more like being shown around by a friend. Not only was he very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his job, he was also good company and definitely went above and beyond. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

We have never done a private tour and initially were a little apprehensive. Our guide Mihai was great! We were immediately comfortable with him. His extensive knowledge was really impressive. He was able to answer any questions we had and we honestly didn't have many because he was very thorough with his presentation of everything we got to see.

Our tour guide, Mihai, was very flexible and very understanding from the moment he contacted us. As a native of Bucharest he knew the city and its history inside/out and weaved his personal stories of growing up in Romania under Communism to the democracy it is today. He met us at Zagnov Monastery since we were coming in town from having visited Transylvania, and he took us on a great tour of the city which included the Parliament, revolutionary square, and many other sites. He was super helpful with helping us get a pre-flight COVID test as well and his mastery of the language was very helpful at every turn. Fantastic job!

Dan was an excellent guide. He is fluent in English with an extensive knowledge of the history of the Balkan peninsula. He showed us parts of Bucharest that we hadn't seen with our Viking cruise and even got us into a tour of the gigantic parliament building. He was a wonderful guide!

Mihai is an excellent tour guide. He was very punctual, he is very articulate, professional and has a great sense of humor. He customized the tour according to my desire and delivered a well-paced and interesting tour. He was able to capture the history of Bucharest in a very informative and insightful manner. The three sites surrounding Bucharest were also very interesting and so diverse, especially the car exhibition. I am sure without Mihai I would not have seen as much or learned as many historic facts in a one day tour in Bucharest.
