Great experience

We booked the trip the day before and we had great time, the guide was very friendly. Would recommend the trip to others.

Decent trip with, mostly, enough time in each place. Long drive to get there and a full small bus was not so comfortable, especially on the back seat. Noise of engine/road/air conditioning also meant we could hardly hear the commentary.
Fantastic Tour
Erin_J, May 2024
The tour was great and Nicoletta, the guide was very informative and helpful. The driver, Victor, was great and made for a very smooth trip. We were given just enough free time at each place as well.
Bulgaria and Castle Peleş tours
Bert_R, May 2024
Our tour guide Helen to Bulgaria and Santiago to Castle Peleş are very knowledgeable, helpful and excellent the way they handled our tour. A very nice experience for my wife and I . I highly recommend them to all people visiting Bucharest and doing side tours . Thank you Gary line and its crew for a job well done
Pleasant Peles-cum-Transylvania day trip

Friendly guide and nice selection of places to visit. Pre-recorded information was naively inaccurate, sometimes even laughably nationalistic (guys, Nicolae’s times are long gone and people have Internet to double-check: Romania is not at all “the biggest country of Eastern Europe”, good for you that there were e.g. no Poles in the group ;-)) or not updated (helas, too many emigrants and too few kids: there are no longer 20 million people in Romania ;-), and curiously omitting far more solid reasons for national pride (Eliade, Ionesco, Brancusi, Cioran were never mentioned…). Peles palace (and Sinaia village) was a positive surprise, Brasov old town a real delight, Bran castle a bit disappointing but still worth visiting. Bus was okay, price not cheap (considering that entrance tickets and meals were not included) but still reasonable. Overall recommended.
Great tour! Recommended

Great experience! Maria, our guide, was very prepared and professional and Stefano, Our driver, drove very well. The Peles Castle worth a visit, ad Bran's one is suggestive.
You can’t miss this!

The bus was really good. It was a big bus and comfortable, and the lady who did the tour was really helpful attentive and spoke well and cared about what she was doing And saying
A fun experience full of history and beautiful views.
Erick_F, Apr 2024
Super interesting tour with awesome views. Dracula’s Castle was fun, but overcrowded. Peles Castle was beautiful! Brasov was also one of my favorite parts of the tour. I think it’d be better to do the tour with fewer people since there was always someone late and the larger part had to wait for the other ones.
Molto soddisfatto
Giovanni_T, Apr 2024
a nice tour, punctual and courteous. the guide, Mrs. Maria, was more than satisfactory, a little less so the driver was a little imprudent, but otherwise ok
All day adventure
Marion, Apr 2024
The visit to the town of Brasov was a highlight, as was the visit to Pele’s castle. Dracula’s castle was too much walking of stairs for very little return. While the trip itself was very worthwhile, not being given audioguides as had been advertised as part of the package, was disappointing. We had a number of people on our bus who preferred to talk rather than listen, and this made our guide very hard to hear. Had we had the audioguides, it would not have been a problem. Also as the crowds were very large as we visited the castles, it was difficult to always hear our guide, again the audioguides would have made a huge difference.
Great Tour but room for improvement
Tobias_R, Apr 2024
This is probably the tour most tourists around Bucharest are booking. And it is worth it. The tour brings you to the beautiful Peles Castle, Brasov and Bran (Dracula's) Castle. It is a very long tour and depending on the traffic it can easily take more than 12 hours. Our tour started around 8am in the morning and we were back just about at 8pm in the evening. Bus driver Romeo was excellent. Our Tour Guide (Nicoletta) was brilliant too but had to deal with ignorant members of our group who where always late back to the bus. Some good things to know: The pick up is a bit chaos. We have been picked up at University Square. Busses arrived and not a single bus had a sign in the windscreen (Gray Line - Dracula's Castle Tour). So many many people were trying to find the right bus. This also causes delays. There was a toilet in the bus but it was locked so no one could use it. Shouldn't be the case. They stop for toilet breaks which is necessary especially on the way back but a working toilet would avoid the extra time too.
Rodica was a great guide...
Emma_L, Apr 2024
Rodica was a great guide and was very knowledgable. Unfortunately Peles Castle does not open on Mon/Tues so we could only see this from the outside.
Great day trip.

Amazing guide - Marta. A good cultural experience - long drive but very beautiful old small towns with heritage.
Visit to Peles and Bran castles
Krzysztof_K, Mar 2024
Our visit to Peles Castle and Dracula's Castle was intriguing, though the experience could have been enhanced with better communication and organization. Receiving a text message on the day itself felt a bit last-minute; getting details the day before, including the guide's name, would have added peace of mind. Additionally, identifiable stickers for our group members could have prevented moments of confusion and the occasional mingling with other groups, ensuring a smoother, more cohesive experience.
Great if you have limited time and want to visit both castles
lisa_g, Mar 2024
Swift pick up at location at 7.45am although we didn't leave until 25 minutes as we were waiting for no shows. It took roughly 120 - 150 minutes to get to the first location - Pele's Castle. Then an hour to Brasov followed by 30 minutes to Bran's Castle. Payment for castles is taken on board the coach so make sure you have cash - Romanian or Euros were accepted. The guide talked about Bucharest and the castles inbetween visits. This is via a microphone at the front of the coach. I recommend sitting near the front to hear this clearly as it can be difficult sitting at the back with fellow passengers talking. Also, the castles are very busy and it can be difficult to hear the guide during the castle tours. There's little free time on this trip. I think it worked out 20 minutes after each Castle to roam independently and 1 hour in Brasov. Overall, it was worth the visit. They do pack as much as possible into the day. We arrived back in Bucharest around 8.20pm. Its worth noting that you can see the castle that the TV series Wednesday was filmed at (Nevermore Academy) when travelling between Peles Castle and Brasov.
Great day trip.

The whole trip was enjoyable. I liked that it was just a small group. The host was great. I highly recommend.
Good guide Roxana and driver, lovely tip overall
KzeYing_C, Mar 2024
Started 7:46AM, got back around 8:30PM. We had a really good tour-guide Roxana and our nice driver (not sure how to spell his name, sorry!) Roxana was lovely and knowledgeable about the history of places we went. We were guided around the castles (only went to Peles and not Bran - tickets can be bought online or Roxana can buy them for you) and had independent time afterwards (1.5 hours at each castle - tour was around 45mins the rest was free time). Driver drove safely and swiftly. Most of the passengers were punctual as to meeting times but some weren’t so please be prepared for some slight delay in leaving each destination. Light food and drinks can be eaten in car but no smoking nor drinking which was good We went without any cash at all - most places accept card. The tour was worth the price - we recommend the company! Thank you Roxana and our lovely driver :)
