I love that we stopped to see the beautiful church in San Isidro and the River plate soccer stadium. The cherry on top was the boat tour along the Tigre Delta. The guides were very informative.

from the ad I booked with I thought there was more time on the river and less in the bus. I think you should make that clear. Also you dropped us off elsewhere not at the hotel and add sounds like it is a hotel drop off.

No able to find the existing hotel to meet

Unable to contact the local guide the day before to confirm the meeting point. At the day of tour. We take a taxi to the hotel , it is no more in business. I am unable to contact the guide . He never called me back. Terrible experience. I would like to have my money bac.

Good half day tour

Juan was very helpful. His narratives were a good introduction to Buenos Aires and Argentina. I liked that we went to San Isidro Cathedral. Tigre boat cruise was just ok. Wine tasting was also good! Restaurant Juan recommended for lunch was delicious!

It was an enjoyable time on the water and the visit to the fruit marker was also fun. Our guide was informative and shared interesting history about various places along the way to the Tigers.

Do it if you have more than 3 days

The river cruise offered a fascinating view of another side of regional life. Good loudspeaker on board gave clear info. Amazing evidence of rising waters (global warming?) The port is worth a little walk (bring local currency if you want to eat or use public restrooms - though debit cards are accepted. The food we chose (poorly) was expensive and awful. Just say no. The ride was good, though no hotel drop off was offered, so have your Google maps ready to find your way home from the obelisk. English speaking guide gave interesting bits of info. Do check whatsapp the morning of the trip for pick up time adjustments.

Not exactly what I expected

The delta cruise was very nice but be aware, it was on a large boat with about 100 passengers. The tour guide, Lua, was great. However, the description talks about touring a church which I was looking forward to but there is no church visit on this tour and the guide was not aware of it when I asked

A Little Disappointing.

Tour was okay. Could not hear or sometimes understand the guide. She spoke softly and did not use a microphone. She spoke 65% Spanish and 35% English and I thought we signed up for an English tour. Too much free time. The port sells just home goods. On the boat you would need to sit under the speaker to hear anything. No wine tasting.

We thought we would go straight to the port and have more time on the water. We made the best of it and had a good time. The tour guide does not have enough experience. i.e., We were told we were going to a futbol field, but she only explained its' history and significance AFTER we stopped there. We couldn't even go in, so what's the point; I stayed in the van. I think she left out a lot of information along the way, but she was okay and quite a lovely person.

Mili our excellent guide but too little real content on the overall excursion

The entire excursion was a bit of a disappointment. Just not enough different content. The bus ride was OK but could have used some photo opportunity stops - like for the metal flower. Things just went by so quickly I could not get good pictures, especially for items on the opposite side of the bus from myself. The boat trip was too long with much the same scenery - got a little old. Mili our guide actually was very good! And our driver was OK. Mili and her narration made the excursion somewhat worth it. Wish there was more history and eco info for filling some of the time on the boat trip.
