With a legacy dating back to the 1890s, Café de los Angelitos is one of the most historic and atmospheric tango venues in Buenos Aires. Once a favorite hangout of tango legends Carlos Gardel and José Razzano, the café was immortalized in their 1944 song “Café de los Angelitos.”
The food was pretty good and the service was excellent! Therefore it’s worth booking with dinner since you get better seats.
The show was quite good but lasted less than one and a half hours.
If you aren’t a big group then transfer is not necessary since you’ll get easier there with a taxi.
We chose the VIP option with dinner, and it was great! Our driver was prompt, friendly and accommodating. We had a great table on the balcony with great views of the show. The food was very fresh and well cooked. Definitely worth a visit!
Outstanding performance by all, even the band was wonderful!!
Cafe De Los Angelitos Tango show in Buenos Aires this past Sunday night was marvelous!! The dancers and the singers were surperb! 💃🕺👏. I would highly recommend this show to friends heading to Buenos Sires
This show exceeded my expectations. Strength, endurance, grace and execution of complex choreography all required. Good variety to the show backed up by excellent singers and a live orchestra.
We wanted an easy going night and we got more than what we expected for. It was an amazing show and great dinner for our value.
We loved the ambience and the dancers were outstanding.
The meal was good and included wine and water. There was a choice of 3 starters, main course and dessert. The meal would have been better if our transfer had turned up and not had to take a taxi to the venue. The show lasted an hour and a half and was very good, mesmerising in fact. Afterwards the transfer back to the hotels seemed well organised and we were found a transfer by the venue to get us back to our hotel.
Great performance! Enjoyed every moment. Cafe itself, dinner, show.
Dancers were fabulous! Our daughters 17 years old and 11 years old, both enjoyed the show a lot. Dinner was great, very tasty. Dancers were great, very artistic. Highly recommend for any age!
The only recommendation is that start time is close to 9 pm, very late for dinner. If it would start at 6-7 pm, would be ideal.
