Could Be Better Organized
John_B, Apr 2024
The camel ride itself was great. The transportation to the facility was on time. Once we arrived at the facility we were told we could not use our phones unless we upgraded to private tour for $150 more. The check in process is slow because you have to wait until the entire group they have you going with was very slow and had us waiting almost 30 mins. The food was excellent. The options to buy the photos they take were reasonable but wanting $50 more for the video is a bit ridiculous. When the tour was over there was no clear instruction on how we were getting back to the cruise port. After asking we were told a bus would be taking us. The wait to actually leave on the bus was another 30 minutes which had us back to the port in just enough time to get a tender back to the ship. Overall it took about 5 hours to do what should have taken 3 hours. They could definitely shorten this by being better organized.
Camel Cabo trip
David_G, Feb 2024
Diana helped us make the trip happen when we needed a time adjustment and from there everything was really fun and professional with Morgan David our guide and we had a great time Photos are good but in todays iPhone digital world being able to take videos should be allowed cause me and my wife could have made some live video memories that pictures just can’t capture Good fun experience and burrito and tequila tasting were nice addition We booked directly with Viator as the cruise camel excursion was sold out and even saved a few bucks and Diana was available by phone and text and made her magic work and took care of everything Thanks

Amazing Experience
Amanda_B, May 2023
The camel ride was an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Eddie, was really nice. The camel ride is 25 mins. You will also get (2) shots of tequila and a mega burrito. If you’re on a cruise it’s about 30-45 mins from the Cabo tender dock. Let them know when you need to be back and they will make sure you are back on time. The pictures and videos are pretty expensive so expect to pay at least $100-200 if you want pictures or you can pay for a private tour and bring your phone. Overall, it was a great experience.

Camels & Billy were awesome!
Toni_W, Apr 2023
Our guide Billy was the best! Highly recommend him. Also riding the camels is an unique experience that my family will always remember. What I didn’t like is that we were not able to take pictures on the tour (which I knew) and they tried to upsell us $150 to take pics and go on a private tour after already paying hundreds of dollars to take the tour in the first place. The pressuring was a lot. I would recommend that at least they increase the pricing to include a picture or something to make it not seem so negative at the beginning.
20 minute ride, barely a tequila tasting
Bailey_J, Feb 2023
The price we paid for this excursion did not in any way line up with the time on the camel ride, or the tequila tasting. The reviews are accurate - only 20-25 minutes on the camel. The other two hours are spent waiting on other groups, taking pictures with the camel, or going on a nature walk. The nature walk was neat, but we weren’t allowed to bring our phones so nothing was documented. But we paid to ride camels. Our group had 7 Hispanics, and my husband and I who speak English. Our tour guide would sometimes not translate in English, didn’t know if this was intentional or not, but he was a decent guide nonetheless. The free tequila tasting was more like a few free drops. Smack in the face after spending this money. You get two 0.25 ounce tastes. The tacos were great, and the camels were fun to ride with a beautiful view. Be prepped to pay $104 for all pictures taken, or $20/photo if you only want a few. Everything at the ranch is a tourist trap. Bartenders say that the tequila they have is only sold at that location and literally no where else, just to get you to purchase from them. If I could do it again, I’d find somewhere else that offered longer camel rides and an actual tequila tasting.

Great excursion no cellphones allowed
Latoya_G, Feb 2023
Unfortunately, I have no photos to upload because they donot allow cellphones or cameras on this excursion. The camel ride was 25 minutes.
Lorena is Amazing!!
Taryn_B, Jan 2023
We were a party of 7 ladies and the experience was fantastic! Lorena was an amazing guide. Always checking up on us to make sure we were okay. She explained things in English as well as in Spanish to accommodate everyone in our tour group. Not only did we have a great experience riding the camels but she threw in some fun facts about the area and the camels themselves.
Just truly outstanding

2 Hour Drive for 15 minutes on camels
Carly_B, Jan 2023
Riding the actual camel only lasts about 15 minutes and you will spend a minimum of 2 1/2 hours at the facility. The guides themselves were obviously very kind and hard-working but overall we feel this is a tourist trap and would not recommend to other people because we wasted so much time and only were on the camels for about 15 minutes.
Castañeda camel ride
Fortune_C, Dec 2022
Great experience!! Photo shop lady by the name of Liz very unfriendly. Eric the tour guide did an excellent job.
Great ride!
Rechelle_V, Dec 2022
We had fun riding the camel. Some comments said increase the time of riding but for me and my daughter it’s plenty enough the time. Taco was delicious the pork one is my favorite. My only complaint is to purchase the photo’s its way too much.expensive for a usb pic. $104 most of our shots not good. 🥴 They should less the price of the pic.
The Best Birthday Ever!!
Tiara_H, Dec 2022
My sister and I have the best time riding the camels. We also saw whales while riding along the beach which was a bonus!! The food was good and also the tequila tasting was fun! We will definitely do this again!!!
Great time with Family
Andy_C, Nov 2022
Camel ride was fun and enjoyable. My only complaint is that they don't tell you about the $20 park fee until you arrive at the park. That fee can only be paid in cash. Also, please note that this camel ride isn't in Cabo San Lucas. It's a private beach 30 mins from town.
Day with the camels
Jenny_C, Nov 2022
The experience itself and great tour guide - great organization and the animals were delightful - loved the openness
A fun experience, super glad we did it!!!
Kim_W, Nov 2022
Pablo our guide was awesome and full of information, the ride was relaxing, even saw whales playing in the ocean, pictures with the camel after ride was a bit rushed and they didn't help with ideas or if the camel wasn't cooperating he wanted to just get the pic over no matter if the camel was laying on the ground. The taco lunch was amazing.
Not worth the experience
Juana_S, Nov 2022
We were excited to ride the camels but had unexpected fees added and a bad experience. My father had a horrible unexpected encounter once he was sitting on the camel. He was unable to open his legs wide enough which caused excruciating pain between his inner thighs. Because of this, he was unable to ride and was told He would not be refunded as The trip was already fully paid. Very disappointing. My daughter and mother enjoyed meeting the camels but were Disappointed once they learned that the camels would be tied together. It felt like a pony ride. In order to get pictures, we had to pay an additional $150. It is unfortunate that a company as big as this would not take any consideration towards my fathers unforeseen encounter and at least refund his fee.

No Bueno camel
Tami_D, Sep 2022
The camel ride is not worth the money you pay. They don’t allow your to bring your phones to take pictures. They make you pay for you pics and the quality of the pic is terrible. The ride was only 20 minutes long. Our guide Luis was Great! He was knowledgeable and spoke English and Spanish.

Camel Rides
Tyler_B, Aug 2022
The Camel riding was fun and had a great time with that. It lasted about 15 to 20 min. But everything else was terrible. It took us 45 min to get to the location and then when we where at the location it took us abother hour in order to "sign in" which is being asked if you want to pay more money and sign a waiver. I feel like this should be something digital. After that we waited another 30 min to get in the vehicle that gets you to location to ride the camels. The time says it takes approximately 2 hours. But we got there at 3 and we didn't make it home till 7pm. Getting a transportation back was also a pain in order for someone to take us to the location. We had a great experience with the camels but everything else was miserable. They need to revamp their check in process and everything. I feel like if they fixed this, they would get better reviews.
