What To Expect

Begin your tour with hotel pickup from selected accommodation in Cape Town between 7:45 and 8:30 a.m. Drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, taking in the view of the Twelve Apostles Mountains in the background and learning about the culture and history as you go.

Upon arrival at Hout Bay, take an optional boat cruise to the Cape Fur seal colony on Duiker Island (own expense), or spend free time browsing the local curio shops at the harbor. Return to the bus and snack on muffins and juice while admiring the views along Chapman’s Peak Drive (subject to road conditions).

Then, continue to Boulders Beach in Simons Town to visit a colony of cute African penguins (optional).

Our final stop of the tour is Cape Point Nature Reserve, a beautiful protected area with free-roaming wildlife and incredible landscapes.

After a healthy picnic lunch, take a leisurely stroll to the Cape Point lighthouse, and an easy hike to the southwestern-most point of Africa. Walk along the spectacular Diaz Beach encircled by dramatic cliffs and wild waves before you reach the famous Cape of Good Hope sign.

Then, climb back aboard your transport to return to your accommodation, where your tour concludes.

As a solo traveler, It was the best decision that i go to do the peninsula tour with Bazbus, They were on time very clear about the trip s program. Ti was our guide she is such a nice funny person and importantly provides all information she has about capetown even about any other questions regard The city recommendations for food. We really spent a good day we did everything and we had our time for each spot. I believe that the peninsula needs a full day to explore or its spots so with Ti will be the best choice you do the price a good everything went smooth. The driver also was funny and very professional.

Mike and Bobby were great! We had a marvelous time seeing the penguins and seals and were lucky enough to also get to see dolphins, rock hyraxes, ostriches, and a couple of different types of antelope. I wasn't expecting such a nice lunch of sandwiches and salads made on the spot. Gorgeous views and very knowledgeable and fun tour guides.

Leon and Bobby were great guides, lots of helpful information and clear instructions on what to look for in each location of the tour. We learned about the regional history, vegetation, wildlife, the geography, culture, cuisine, and had a great experience hiking from Cape Point to Cape of Good Hope. (there is an option to take a scenic drive, but some of us opted for the hike, which I highly recommend!) We had a great time. Admission tickets to some places are not included to keep the cost low, and most places are cashless now, so bring your credit card!

Highly recommended. You get to see some stunning places. In our case Mike (our guide) and driver (can't remember his name, difficult to spell) made the experience very pleasant and relaxed. I'll come back to Cape Town in the future and will do this tour again with my family.

We booked our trip with Viator, which was quick and straightforward. However; the company that contracted to undertake the tour was Bazbus, which we would highly recommend. The driver, who was reserved but drove the minibus extremely safely, which was great. Our guide, Rudi was highly informative and knowledgeable with lovely sense of humour. The number of people in the group was 7 who gelled extremely well through the day. We would highly recommend Bazbus for this trip.

Guide Safi and driver Bobby were the best. Our family of five was three generations, from 12 years old to 78 years old. Yet Safi and Bobby were considerate of each person’s needs and treated everyone with kindness. Safi’s knowledge was impressive. Everything in the prospectus was visited in a relaxed manner: the seals, penguins, and a challenging hike at Cape Point. They even fed us a healthy snack and delicious lunch— including salad! There were plenty of clean washroom stops, even for a 78-year-old! Can’t recommend this tour highly enough, especially with Safi and Bobby.
