Welsh adventure

Gareth was a great guide! Even though the weather was iffy, the tour went on. Good insight on Welsh history and culture. Pembroke castle was interesting, but Tenby was the star of the show.

We had a wonderful time exploring the Welsh countryside. There was plenty of time allowed for the stops. The ride was comfortable and our guide was very informative and kind. Would definitely recommend this tour to anybody who is thinking about doing it.

Phenomenal and informative tour

The whole trip was memorable and fantastic. Our guide, Gareth was one of best guides we have ever had,and we have travelled extensively. First time we were ever contacted by guide days before tour for pickup and information. Even though it rained most of the day it did not dampen our enjoyment of the tour. We would not change anything We highly recommend Gareth and this tour. If you like history and castles this is the one to take. Ray and Donna from Canada

Excellent way to visit points of interest in Wales outside of Cardiff

My wife and I enjoyed the tour, especially the visit to Pembroke Castle. There were only five of us on the tour, which was nice, but the van was old and not particularly comfortable for this all-day adventure. Our guide was accommodating but the narrative during to lengthy drive could have been more enlightening.

I'm glad that you enjoyed. I'm sorry that you weren't enlightened. It's difficult for me to know what could have enlightened you. There were five on the tour which you liked but I can't guarantee small numbers just to make customers happy. Obviously I want a full trip to keep my business going. A full trip is 8 people. If you want small numbers then the only way to ensure this is to book the tour outright. In regards to the van being old and not particularly comfortable then I must say that I don't agree. I have invested a great deal of time, finance and diligence in ensuring that my vehicles are safe, clean, comfortable and reliable.

EXCITING TIME IN SOUTHERN WALES

This was a long and enjoyable day with Gareth. He was a great tour guide. The more questions you ask, the better the information. We had a cloudy and windy day. No rain until the end of the day. The places we stopped on the tour, we had plenty of time to see. The first castle we were thankful we went right up, the line had became long when we left, all of our time would have been used up in line! Tenby is amazing - the beaches, houses and color, as well as shopping were so great.

The knowledge of Garreth (spelling) was amazing. Felt like I was getting a comprehensive history lesson but one filled with humor also that made it more interesting . We had the right amount of time at each location. I would definitely use this operator again for another tour. Really nice transfer. Small van and safe driver/tour guide. The driver is excellent with his knowledge of Welsh history, culture and locations. Three selected locations are superb, I had a lovely day and enjoyed the conversations along the way.

Gareth welcomed us and made sure we were comfortable in our seats. As there were long travel times in between destinations, we were given snacks and water which was highly appreciated. We didn’t feel rushed and was given ample time to enjoy the sites. Gareth was very knowledgeable which was definitely a plus factor!

This was a major highlight of our recent trip to the UK. Wales is a beautiful and intriguing country and Gareth showed us the best of it! He is not only a very gifted and engaging guide, he is an expert in Welch history. He shared many historical facts and most interesting tales of Wales and its past.. We enjoyed this tour immensely. We visited several wonderful towns… Tenby was my favorite. I absolutely recommend Gareth‘s tour to any one wanting to have a great adventure in seeing this wonderful country.

Excellent tour -- definitely worthwhile! The Pembroke castle was amazing - we wish we had more time there. The stop in Tenby was amazing and had plenty of time to enjoy that lovely spot! Those two spots were the highlight of the day! I would recommend that on days that the Laugharne Castle is closed we would spend less time at that location (Dylan Thomas site) and more time at the Pembroke castle. The tour was wonderful though and the host was very helpful and prepared. Highly recommend!
