Ed Adams was our guide, he was amazing! Very helpful, lots of great information on the area, and great places to eat! He was extremely attentive to all of us on the tour, all of the foods were freshly made and so varied and tasty! We loved the Carlsbad Food Tour with Ed and highly recommended Ed on Thursdays!

Very nice guide but not worth the price. If you like carbs this is the tour for you. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten so many carbs. We ate pita bread, Italian bread, pasta, crepes, avocado toast and donuts. Be warned there are no wine samples on the tour although we did have some very tasty limoncello and pressed juice.

The food was great but we especially liked talking to Ed (Dirt), about his life leading up to the time he started working as a tour guide. He was also knowledgeable about the history of the Village of Carlsbad. It was a really fun day all around.

Our guide was right on time and easily engage with us. Ed was knowledgeable about the restaurants in Carlsbad and picked unique restaurants that offered cuisine about the norm. If Iyou are staying in Carlsbad for a week be sure to take this tour when you first arrive. It's a great way to get some history of the town too.
