Q:How does the Oceanside Indoor Skydiving Experience work?
A:A vertical wind tunnel has fans at the top to draw air through the flight chamber and then push it back down the sides. The air is then compressed & sped up before it reenters the flight chamber causing a smooth column of air that enables you to fly.

A:It is important that you arrive on time for your scheduled session. Your experience will begin promptly upon your arrival so please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your reservation so you have time to check in.

A:Generally, a group of up to 12 guests fly in each session. Your friends and family will be part of the same group, however, you will fly one at a time in the flight chamber one-on-one with your instructor.

A:Each flight within the wind tunnel lasts 60 seconds. The entire iFLY first-time flyer experience takes approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes from start to finish.

A:If someone chooses to come to watch, he or she is welcome to accompany you through your experience and can watch from the observation area.

A:Generally, no. There’s no jumping, no falling, and no experience is needed. You simply float on a column of air. There is no sensation of falling or anything that would make you feel motion sickness.

A:Not at all. It is the same as if you stick your head out a car window while driving. All you feel is the wind in your face. Just breathe normally, either through your mouth or your nose.

They informed us of everything we needed to know and helped us have the best experience possible. It was great to watch the Navy Seals train. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy but I thought I would have been able to fly without assistance. Hopefully I will get it down next time.

My husband wanted to do this for his birthday, so I purchased flights for him and a couple of his buddies. They had a great time! We ended up paying an additional $20 so they could fly higher (to the top of the tunnel). I would recommend that, the "regular" flight is only 3-5ft in the air. All in all a blast for the guys.

We visited this place on our vacation in Oceanside and my 15 year old had a blast. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We ended up buying a return ride pass that does not expire for half price and cannot wait to come back! Great experience. We have video and photos that captured the experience as well.

I had a great time at Ifly oceanside.
it was like no other. The staff was awesome and cool to be around.
There was not one face in there that didn't have a smile on there face.
I. Would recommend anyone to give it a try at least one time if not more.
Even bought 4 more flights before i made it out the front door.
