      We had a wonderful experience with this tour from pre-trip planning, suggestions, making reservations at beach clubs to follow-up and consistent communication even during the trip to ensure we were having a great time. We visited the Rosario Islands with a group of 9 people and the tour was seamless. We even changed our itinerary on the day of because we wanted to spend more time at one of the beach clubs and the crew made it happen! This is not a review of the tour group or services-- but the boat ride on the way back was extremely choppy due to the high winds and waves. The crew did an EXCELLENT job navigating this and making sure that we felt safe. I would recommend this tour and will definitely be coming back and booking with them!

      5 Stars BUT .... This tour was fun and relaxing, our tour guide was a great translator and great host! They asked us what islands or activities we wanted to do, then recommended some of their own... PAUE was relaxing and very aesthetically pleasing, Tulum was more partying.. we were about 45 mins late but it was fine they helped guide us to the boat (cuz we were lost lol) The crew will ask you to pay for their food but we made it clear they could chose between the expensive food or pesos.. App + entre + 2 drinks + tip will be about $100 on the island (normal) BOAT RIDE IS NOT FOR THE WEAK The waters are rough and the ride is about 45 mins... Like I said for us (4 Men in their 20s) it was bumpy but still fun, for older more delicate, or sea sick individuals, maybe not so much.. you will get wet and you will need to pee before you head back! Would recommend with caution but very fun for us!

      Had a lot of fun out on the water especially the chance to swim and play our own music. We had a very nice lunch and a chance to hang out on one of the small islands. Beautiful day!

      This boating experience was the highlight of my trip to Colombia! Rosario Islands are absolutely gorgeous and having the boat to ourselves was so nice. We saw other group tour boats and they looked absolutely packed! We had a delicious lunch on Coralina, which was peaceful and had stunning views! We also snorkeled a good portion of the trip which was a blast. If you plan to snorkel bring bread! The boat was super nice and the captain and skipper were pleasant and very aware of our needs, bringing water and our drinks over to us as we were enjoying the surroundings. I’d recommend this trip to anyone!

      I have done a similar boat tour before but it didn’t compare. I will be using Fran for my boat tour in Cartagena going forwards He was traveling on the day of our tour but still was very responsive, attentive of our needs, and accommodating. Our day was geared towards us since we were traveling as a family and looking for something calm. Of course if you are traveling with friends and looking for something different, they’ll accommodate. Fran also had some great recommendations on the best spots to stop in the islands as well as some good spots in Cartagena. Fran put us in contact with Carlos who met with us at the Club Nautico and got us ready to go. The crew was AMAZING and the service was top notch! Highly recommend!

      Carlos was very responsive and communicated well with us about what we would like to do with our day. The only surprise was when we went for lunch, the waiter, Mates, asked if we would like to buy our 3 man crew lunch from the pricey restaurant menu. We declined as we had not budgeted or expected this. The crew were attentive and professional all day. A great outing.

They probably asked you to see if you accepted. But of course they must give those menus to the crew for free. And they did it when you declined.       Owner met us at the docks to explain over everything - very informative, captain and assistant were great as well - biggest tip I would give is to be over prepared with your own drinks, food, music, snacks and everything else for what is a whole day trip. Take advantage of all the time, I would not lose time on boarding and leaving. I would triple check with anyone trying to sell you anything on the price & just know that once you're out there in the islands, the prices skyrocket for quite a lot of things. Jetski rentals were $75 per hour which was decent & fun but TRACK your hour, travel watch is a huge help - you don't want them telling you it's over when you still have time left. Kind but firm on the "no, thank you' to the vendors and massage girls that will come your way will get you through it. Other than that it was a great trip! :)

We always explain to the groups how to avoid cheating and give them all kinds of recommendations. But it is beyond our control... they will always seek to win as much as possible with the tourist. It's important to be serious when it comes to telling them "No thanks" 🙏

      Boat ride was a lot of fun and the guide with us, Carlos was fantastic, and spoke excellent English. Stopped to go snorkeling in the beautiful water, and went to a private beach club which was great!

      What an awesome day that we tailored made ourselves to suit what we wanted. We were treated with great respect and had a lot of fun. We were even provided a translator at no additional charge. They took us to an island where we had lunch and enjoyed the beach for awhile then went and seen a sunken airplane. I can’t wait to comeback here to visit and do this again

      Great full day use of a boat to visit the Rosario Islands. Captain Luis and 1st mate Gustavo were excellent with our 3 generation group of 9 ranging in age from teenagers to grandparents. My brother and sister in-law had such a great time they are changing their 20th wedding anniversary plans to come back to the islands we visited. You can bring your own food and stop at a place to eat and enjoy the island from shore.

      Great communication, flexible itinerary which we got to decide .. a little touring, a little snorkeling at 3 sites, a great lunch recommendation and a sunny day with calm Seas. The owner met us and handed us off to the captain, the 1st made and english guide. We had a great day .. we were only 2 couples so lots of space.

      We had so much fun on this private boat tour. Our captain Monrys was awesome. The boat was very nice and we enjoyed listening to our music. We got to snorkel, enjoy the beach clubs and relax on the beach. It was a perfect day! I would highly recommend this boat tour to everyone. It was one of the highlights of our trip in Cartagena! Thank you Fran and Monrys for the amazing adventure!

      Would highly recommend Fran and SaS tours. We rented a speed boat and requested a English speaking guide/captain. Our captain was not English speaking so Fran joined us on the boat and guided us the entire day. Few things that were great and stood out for us being new to the country and language. First Fran reached out to us a day before and we had a detail discussion on plan for the day. Second whole plan was very flexible, we we late to start and it was accommodated. I think everyone really enjoyed the chilled out expect of the boat trip, we were not rushed to anything. Third Fran gave us some great insight into trip and Cartagena. He had great recommendations for us where to party. Fourth boat crew was very responsible, captain rode it fast and smooth and helper was making sure everyone get on and off the boat safely. They had enough ice for our beer and water. We took less booze than we should have, but we also had a light drinking group. We ate at Bora Bora beach club, food was good but pricey. We had crew eat with us as it was little past lunch time. Overall great experience for us, will highly recommend Fran and company. All my friends were super happy with service as well.

      Full Day Private Boat

      We had a blast renting a boat from Frank. His crew were professional and courteous. Communication with Frank was easy. A pickup location and time was given and he was there waiting for us. We visited the Rosario islands, the sunken plane, cholon boat party followed by a beach stop. Frank recommended lunch at a beach club. His recommendation did not disappoint. The food and vibe was awesome. We will definitely be renting back with Frank.

      Accomodating crew but beware

      The captain and first mate were accomodating and did their best to communicate with us considering our limited Spanish. They had a cooler with ice and immediately invited us to connect to the Bluetooth to start blasting our music. They took us to 2 snorkeling spots but there wasn't much to see underwater. We wanted a typical lunch and asked not to go to a very "touristy" place. We were taken to Agua Azul, a small island with different vendors. It was not crowded initially, but by 2pm, it started to get crowded and more chartered hosts with tourusts arrived. Upon docking, we were "assigned" (without being consulted) an assitant who walked us to a spot on the beach, produced plastic chairs and gave us a menu for food and drinks that were extremely overpriced: 95,000 pesos or US$25 for a pina colada. The grilled chicken was 75,000 pesos and the fried fish was 80,000. The bill included a 70,000 service charge which I assume covers being walked to a spot on the beach and given 3 plastic chairs. I have no problem tipping but this was a hustle that I didn't appreciate. Additionly, when ordering our meal we were asked by "our assistant" if we were going to pay for lunch for the captain and first mate. If this was a requirement, then it should have been included in the price or be in lieu of a tip for them. There is a charge of 2,000 pesos to use the restroom which was clean. The hackling on the beach was overwhelming, but it was the same as it was on mainland Colombia, so it's just something to prepare for and to politely decline if you're not interested in their service (eg. massage) or what they are selling (e.g. trinkets and coffee).
