The Rosario Islands(Islas del Rosario) are a highlight of Colombia’s Caribbean Coast, famous for their vibrant marine life, pristine white beaches, and sun-soaked beach resorts. A cluster of 28 idyllic islands dotted offshore of the port city of Cartagena, this archipelago sits atop the world’s third-largest barrier reef and makes up Islas del Rosario National Park.
Franklin was great! I love the vibe and how friendly he is. The tour is excellent, and the beaches are amazing.
Cholon is not a clean place and I wouldn't recommend eating there, by the time we arrived at the site where we were having lunch, we were super hungry. So I would strongly recommend bringing a snack and drinks.
The lunch was delicious, so the wait was worth it!
Gabriel was an excellent guide! He gave us proper information and ensure our safety at all times. Recommend this company when you want to experience a boat ride in Cartagena
This was the best experience we had on this trip. The boat was great, the guide and the drivers are amazing and very nice! Keep in mind - you need to pack your own towels and beverages (though there are stops at places where you can buy beverages).
This was a fabulous way to spend a day. My husband and I enjoyed snorkeling and visiting the different islands and their beaches.
Sergio our guide was very helpful and gave great tips for dealing with the vendors.
I like how they had us wear life jackets when we were out in the open water, many of the other boats, their passengers were not wearing life jackets. I felt that we were in really good hands with Sergio and the crew.
This is the best tour ever to all the Rosario islands book here asap
What are you waiting for hurry up and book it you won’t regret it . Staff is amazing and very professional
This is an excellent way to spend a full day visiting the surrounding islands. The crew and Kevin were fantastic very friendly, very professional. They brought us to places we wanted and skip the places we did not. We stopped at a restaurant for lunch, (not included in price of tour) which was a great experience. Bring snacks and beverages for the provided iced cooler. A great little detail, connect your Bluetooth to their kickin sound system.
Let me start by saying: if you don’t enjoy making new friends and partying, this may not be for you. With that said, I am not sure where the negative reviews come from! As someone from North America, this was an excellent experience. Our guide, John Wayne, was amazing and had a great attitude throughout the long day (8am to 4pm). We had a great time visiting the islands and snorkeling. Our particular favourite was Cholon! What a fun party experience.
Great, interactive experience, gorgeous snorkeling with fabulous guide!
We started the day off early but totally worth it. Met in front of Pegasus statues. So many people trying to sell water, beer, sunscreen, hats. Great if you need it, annoying if you don’t. Trip out of the harbour, the snorkeling, the private beach. Totally amazing. I have snorkeled in HI, Bahamas, Florida keys…there were so many species of fish and coral to rival them all. Cholon wasn’t really the scene for my partner and I, but our guide, John Wayne, made sure we were comfortable and away from the crowds. We then went to lunch on Playa Blanca. Delicious fish and vegetarian rice dishes on a beautiful beach to finish the day. Was the perfect day, great group, and wonderful guide who had clear pride in his country and wanted to ensure all had a good time!
Thanks for an experience to remember. Would totally recommend
This was an amazing time and worth every penny to have your own private experience. Kevin and Manuel were so great and accommodated all of our requests. The islands are all gorgeous. Cholon was known as the party island so the three of us stuck to Rosario and Baru. Beautiful and a great place to swim, relax, and soak up the sun. Request Kevin and Manuel; they were so kind and created a five star experience. They also allowed us to start and hour late because we had gotten a slow start to the morning which helped a ton.
Our guide Adrianno was fantastic. He went above and beyond explaining everything, courteous and offered to take pictures of us in the water while snorkeling. The food was fantastic and the timing of everything was perfect, bot too long or too short in every stop. Saw Escobars plane underwater, and had a stop at private island with food and drinks (extra).
Be prepared for a bumpy ride back! The captain did his best to smooth it out and wasn't really that bad.
