This was the perfect tour! The guide was so nice and really funny. All the activities were fun and we were a fun group. Also, the food was amazing! I am vegan and still I had so much food to choose from which was all delicious. Would definitely recommend.

This was a perfect way to see the beauty in both Lan Ha and Ha Long Bays. As the description states, they do take you away from the touristy areas. We only saw a handful of other tourist boats.
The water was so warm to swim in. We did go in late April/ early May so it did start raining on us when we were kayaking around but have no fear, our guide Hang he made sure that we were all still enjoying ourselves. He even showed us a few magic tricks while we were on the boat.
I would highly recommend this activity while you are staying in Cat Ba.

It was a long day but very chilled. My partner and I both enjoyed ourselves. We met at the office (bus pickup was an option but we were in walking distance). Were greeted with a big 1.5L bottle of water each. We were asked for our passports so they could photocopy them. We didn’t have them but they said drivers license was fine, so just be mindful that you might need some photo ID.
The boat trip was amazing and our tour guides (Tony and Bee) were funny and very informative. We stopped for a swim, then had a lunch which was lovely. They catered for all types of eaters (mixed meats, no meats, only seafood, etc). After lunch we went on the kayak tour which was lovely. The water is so calm and the mountains are awesome. Unfortunately the weather was cloudy and hazy but it still looked beautiful. Towels were also provided by the cruise which was great.
After our kayak we had another swim and went to a fish farm. We really loved the fish farm. Really interesting.
Overall, it was an amazing day with lots of things to do, but lots of opportunities to just sit down and chill out.

We had a great time on this tour. The tour was very well organised, and we did manage to avoid the majority of other tourists, which was very nice as it was much quieter and allowed you to take in the scenery and sites. The staff were great at all points of this tour and incredibly helpful and informative.

The tour itself was great. We did indeed manage to avoid the other tourists on the trip by doing the key activities like kayaking at a different time. Only downside was overcast weather.
We were most impressed by the level of service from staff. We realized the day before the tour that it did not include pick up and drop off from Hanoi. So we messaged the WhatsApp number and they were able to organize the transportation for us for $150 usd total (cheaper than organizing it ourselves). This included car pick up from hotel to ferry, ferry ticket to Cat Ba, and then another car to take us to the starting location. Each driver was waiting promptly for us at each stage. We’re so impressed by how smooth the process was and the level of service. The driver even waited to make sure we got on the right ferry on the way back because they often switch ferries for the last ferry of the day.

This tour has exceptional service and value! I’d give it six stars if I could. Our guide, Hang, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our group avoided crowds while kayaking.

A very well organised tour. Cat Ba Venures deliver a most enjoyable experience. Tour guides were relaxed and entertaining, providing lots of useful information without ever distracting from our enjoyment of the amazing scenery. The swimming stops gave an opportunity to slowly contemplate the beauty of the spectacular location. The lunch served on board the boat was excellent.

B was the best tour guide! He was incredibly friendly, a great storyteller and shared a lot of local knowledge. We swam and Kayaked in beautiful water, the whole experience was wonderful. Great crew and nice vibes of everyone on tour. I especially loved all the private places they took us and the timing of everything. After kayaking in the caves, we saw crowds of people starting to arrive. Luckily we never had to deal with this. The whole day 10/10, definitely would recommend to anyone heading to Cat Ba :)
