Overview

Explore the Cretan coastline from a standup paddleboard on this guided tour around beautiful Marathi Bay. After a short instruction and safety lesson, head out into the bay, exploring smaller islets, diving spots, and a small cave system along the way. You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

This was so much fun! We were picked up at the cruise port and whisked away to a calm bay with crystal clear water. The guides were very friendly and helpful getting us started. They took us to a great spot for cliff jumping and were eager to make the trip enjoyable for everyone. The paddle boards were great quality and we had all the safety equipment needed. Thanks for making our stop in Chania memorable!

This was our favorite activity of our 14-day trip. As a first-time paddle-boarder, Stefano was a great instructor and got us up and paddling within a few minutes. He also made the tour very relaxing and fun. I would recommend this to anyone.

The SUP tour was so great that I ended up doing it two times during my trip to Crete! Stefanos and the guides were fantastic and really know what they are doing. The two hours flies by and they love to surprise you with something fun and adventurous during the tour. The bay where it is held is so calm and peaceful, and it’s nice to be out on the water. Out of my entire trip, this was one of my favorite things to do!

A super fun activity for all levels

What a fun day! This was our first time paddle boarding and the instructors were so patient. They were especially patient with my husband who struggled most of the day. They stayed with him and really helped him get it. It was fun learning to paddle board and see the area. We were able to swim in the water and enjoy the day. They even took us on two surprises that we loved. The only downside was it’s time. I would have loved to be out there for even longer that’s how much fun we had. It was worth the trip and the price is very fair. The equipment is in great shape.

Amazing time, only regret was it was too short. Felt super safe, great equipment, gorgeous location. TIP: Do a morning one for calmer water - water was sooo calm everyone on my trip was able to stand up no problem. It was the first time for many.

We had a great time on the SUP tour. The guides were excellent at explaining the technique and were very friendly and entertaining. We had a great time jumping off some cliffs! They took photos and sent them to us afterward, which really added a nice touch!

This was the best experience we had while visit Greece (we love outdoor adventuring and the water). The guides were extremely pleasant, honest and engaging. The boarding, views, water, and “surprises” were incredible. One of the most memorable experiences of our lifetimes.

Starting from Vasilis the driver who’s very friendly and he’ll show you interesting points along the way! Then you have Stefanos the Boss who’s absolutely brilliant at what he does! We’ve had Vagilis and Fibs as instructors and they were very patient and kind in showing all the ins and outs of paddle boarding! As beginners we’ve “got it” pretty straight away with their guidance! Only regret will be that it was only 2 hours which went by very quickly having so much fun! Thanks everyone! Taleme meta! Marta

Great tour for beginners!

This is like a driving tour and a SUP tour. The person who picked us up from the cruise port was wonderful. He gave us a tour as he drove us down to the beach. Once we got to the beach, the guides were so kind and explained everything. The boards were easy to stand up on, the water was calm and very clear and they gave us great tips on how to stand up. We did some fun cliff jumping and went inside a cave also. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer! Great tour, highly recommend!

Our guides did a great job accommodating all levels and even threw in a nice surprise. Would have loved to have gone out further and a bit longer. Location of the adventure was terrific. The water amazing and everyone had a fun day!!

As a first timer… I loved it! Having the ability to go at my own pace and stand up once comfortable was ideal. Dimitri and the team were great, knowledgable and accommodating. Will definitely be back in the future!!!

This was amazing! I highly recommend this activity! We did this first thing in the morning at the end of June and it was perfect! Can now say I’ve swam in the Mediterranean Sea! Great experience and the guides were super patient and helpful!!!

SUPer fun and well-organized tour

This was such a great excursion for our port time in Crete! We received great instructions at booking and again the day before and day of our arrival. Our pickup at the port was prompt and easy to find, and the driver told us about the area on the drive to the beach. Once we arrived everything was explained and we set off on on the SUPs in the most beautiful setting. Stephanos and Cris were great guides and were able to easily manage the different experience levels of our group. I especially loved that they captured some great photos of our adventure. 110% this is a must-do again!

We were met by our gracious driver who explained the sites of the island ad we made our way to our destination . Our two guides were there waiting for us and explained what our day would be like. With their careful guidance and instruction all of us were up on the boards on our first try. The water was beautiful and they took photos for us as well which they graciously gave to us without a charge . There was also cliff jumping if you liked and we went to the cove to look at the sea urchins . What a great day and what fun and knowledgeable guide we had. 10/10 would recommend .

The guide is so patient and so helpful with the tour i had fallen off my board 3 times before i had gotten the hang of it and each time he would come back and make sure i was okay and that i could get back on. It was honestly an amazing experience!!!! Only downside is we didn't see the turtles.

This was a last minute decision and it was really fun. Kind of physically intensive. You will have to able paddle against the wind, but the guides are very helpful. We went into several coves with clear blue water. Loved it!

The team is incredible! We loved every second of it. The gear was in perfect condition. However, expected a little bit more paddling or views, going through canal wasn’t something special, time spent on activity I think it is not really worth of the price. But we really liked super high quality pics and videos. Also the driver Vasilij was the best guide before and after the activity. You guys really love Crete!

Beautiful time exploring the water by paddle board

Amazing guides - super kind, patient, and really good at managing our group which consisted of paddle boarders of all abilities. We had a blast and it was absolutely beautiful. Another bonus was our friendly driver who picked us up from our hotel and drove us back, pointing out sites and taking us on scenic routes in between. Would recommend this experience to anyone!

This was one of the best excursions we ever had! My kids had the best time! The guide was amazing! He also brought another guide to assist with those in the back and take pictures. Those pictures were emailed to us and included in the price! I absolutely loved that! Would definitely book this again!
