We loved this tour as there were only 2 couples. We got to see a lot of the country side and delightful villages. The wines we tasted were very nice, although the serving size was extremely small, we did feel that this was not good enough. At least a mouth full of wine would have been nice. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Amelie was an excellent guide for a full day of learning about the history of wine-growing in Alsace. We visited three winery tasting rooms, tasting 4-6 wines at each, and got lots of time with knowledgeable and helpful staff, all of whom spoke great English and knew the answers to everything we asked. The tour also includes time for lunch and exploring in a beautiful medieval Alsatian village. Highly recommend!

An Incredible Afternoon in the Alsace Vineyards!

Our host/tour guide, Jerome, was wonderful. The scenery as we traveled between wineries was breath taking. Each winery had lovely hosts, wonderful wines, and they were situated in adorable towns. Going to Riquewihr for lunch was the perfect charming stop. The final and third winery had interesting history from the wars that involved both Germany and France. A final stop at the French Cemetery and American Memorial overlooking the entire valley filled with vineyards, quaint towns, and surrounding mountains was worth the time.

Jerome was very pleasant and knowledgeable - not only about the region’s wine, but also it’s history. The villages are all very beautiful. I particularly loved Riquewihr, and adorable village that seemed like a fairytale set. We visited three wineries. More than the knowledge their love for what they do stuck with me. And it didn’t hurt that the wines were all delicious.
