Overview

Spend a day visiting beautiful old villages with this tour of the Alsace Wine Route and its historic villages. You'll stop at Hunawihr, Riquewihr, Eguisheim, and Kaysersberg, with a potential stop at the Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle if daily visitor numbers permit. You’ll also get the chance to visit a local wine cellar for a tasting.

What a wonderful, interesting, informative and fun excursion! So glad I signed up! Thrilled to see the surrounding towns, castle and experience the wine tasting. Anna was absolutely wonderful! She managed to go between English and Spanish seemingly effortlessly! She answered many questions I had and did an exceptional job explaining the history of the area and castle. This was truly a highlight of my week! I highly recommend!!

Perfect full day experience

Our guide Anna was excellent. She was knowledgeable about the history of the Alsace region and the picturesque villages we visited. The castle visit was interesting and having a guide enriched the experience for our group. The winery visit and tasting was great as we learned about the Alsace wines.

A taste of everything Colmar

This was a fantastic tour seeing all the cute little gingerbread house villages of the Colmar region and hearing interesting Alsacien stories from our guide Ana. We went to a traditional Alsacien restaurant for lunch too. The trip to Haut-Koenigsbourg castle in the snow was definitely a highlight, and the wine-tasting a nice way to finish off a big day. The only slight downside was that there were so many towns included we only had time to have a quick walking tour through most of them, without being able to stop and shop. Gréât photo opportunités though and definitely recommend

Indeed during the Christmas markets as there are so many people everything takes more time... and don't let space for more time for shopping. Esta experiencia para conocer Alsacia superó nuestras expectativas, Eric nuestro guía fue muy paciente y atento, adaptándose muy bien a la convivencia del grupo con una conversación muy amena. Los vinos de Alsacia que nos llevo a degustar fueron excelentes y la anfitriona mostró mucha pasión y conocimiento sobre el tema , de igual forma la visita al castillo medieval y la comida, todo fue inmejorable. Volveríamos hacer el tour!
