The fact that we had a most informative, cordial, attentive guide, Mr. Didier Bucher, was a big “plus” for this tour. He was punctual, picked us up at our apartment, drove us to Neuf Brisach, Freiburg, & Basel, & gave us a historical & informative narrative for everywhere we went. His patience was admirable. Would recommend this tour 100% to anyone visiting the Alsace region.

We loved visiting Eguisheim and Freiburg. Our guide was wonderful. He was very informative and fun to be with. It was an interesting experience being in 3 countries in one day.

Didier was a terrific host. This trip was amazing. The towns we visited were so worth it. It was not a lot of time in the coach as everything is very close. I would do this tour again!!

We enjoyed a wonderful day with DJ, our tour guide and driver. We first stopped at the scenic village of Eguisheim and he showed us the location which inspired the film Beauty and the Beast. We did a walking tour of the village, and took many photos. Then on to Freiburg Germany where he showed us the University campuses and the Jewish Synagogue that was bombed in the war. We then shopped at the market, had lunch, and a view the cathedral. Our last stop stop was Basel, Switzerland where he showed us the sights and a walk on the historic Middle Bridge over the Rhine River.

Too much time in Basel with little to see, not enough time in other places with a lot of charm. The guide said the bare minimum and had alcohol with lunch

Each of the three stops were wonderful. Eguisheim is a gem! The success of the excursion was greatly due to our guide Didier, a knowledgeable, pleasant person, responsive to the travelers’ needs and anticipating the latter’s requests. I totally recommend this programme and of course this guide!

Very nicely constructed tour. Beautiful and interesting locations. Guide, Didier was able to give us all the relevant information in a very entertaining manner. Especially enjoyed Eguishheim.

Our guide Didie was great! He was knowledgeable and fun. The 3 towns are very different from each other, so we got a nice “sampler” of the region. The lunch restaurant served very delicious, fresh German dishes. The van was very comfortable, and bottled water was provided.

We had a great day with Didier on our tour! We stopped at the walled city of Neuf Bribach in France before driving to Freiberg in Germany. After a walking tour of the city we had a traditional lunch at a restaurant. Our final stop was Basel with a walking tour of the old section. Three countries in one day!
