What To Expect

In the morning, find your way to the meeting point near Copenhagen Central Station and board the air-conditioned minibus that will be taking you about for this half-day outing.

Following an almost hour-long drive, you’ll arrive with your guide at Camp Adventure and you’ll need to purchase your entry ticket. Once that is sorted out, you’ll begin the climb up the 148-feet (45 meter) tall wooden tower and enjoy the forest scenery visible from its treetop walkway.

Upon returning to the forest floor, you’ll enjoy a lunch break where you can purchase whatever food you like at the camp’s street food market and eat it at the picnic tables overlooking its mill pond.

On the way back to Copenhagen, you’ll have the chance to see two large sculptures by Thomas Dambo that form part of the “Forgotten Giants” project near the town of Hvidovre.

Such an awesome tour and guide! If you’re visiting Copenhagen I highly recommend this tour as it’s like nothing else I’ve been to! The Forest Tower is super cool and the stop offs at the end to the giants is a bonus. It’s so much easier doing this as a tour rather than driving yourself and it was well worth it! We had a great time!

You have to see this hidden gems in Copenhagen. It is a most! It is an experience that takes you away from the traditional tours

Amazing sculpture of a spiral. Also accessible by wheelchair. Beautiful and captaining from every angle. The walk through the forest on boardwalks is peaceful and the birds are plentiful. We traveled over 5,000 miles to see this (well it was the impetus for this trip) and we were not disappointed. The folks who put this together were mindful and creative in every aspect of the concept and design. Also a lovely little gift shop, a film about the making of it and very friendly folks staffing it. Wish we had had time to do the zip lines. If you are adventurous, or have kids with you, for sure plan to stay for the day to take advantage of the zip lines and climbing activities.

Great day out to the tower and to see two of the giants. So glad we took the trip out of Copenhagen since we not only saw the tower and giants, but was able to see the countryside of Denmark.

After the hustle & bustle of Copenhagen this trip was a nice change of pace , the Tower & surrounding woodland looked magical with all the snow ,the tower is an impressive structure! we had half an hour for lunch, the restaurant at the centre is closed during low season but they have a limited menu that they are still happy to make for visitor’s that’s mainly soup or paninis which suited our group, we have a teenager and a 9 year old in our family and both boys enjoyed the day, the giants are a great extra as well, our guide was very informed about the tower and polite & helpful throughout the day, our family were the only ones on the tour that day and it lasted 5 hours

Phone and WiFi Up the Tower!

Camp Adventure was brilliant. It was thick with snow when we got there so wasn't sure we would get to walk to the tower. The owner of the camp let us go. It looked amazing all covered in snow as we treked along the walkway. Passed a Christmas tree plantation which looked amazing with snow thick on the branches. When we reached the tower it was mind blowing! We looked up the centre where there are three trees growing, then it was on to the climb. Round and round and round we went. Half way up and we had gone above the tree line! It took about 10mins to walk up stopping to take photos as well. At the top the snow was falling and it was a bit breezy so the view wasn't as good as it would have been. It was still amazing though. Looking down through the spirals was incredible too. Would you believe you can get a phone signal up there and WiFi! Naturally you come.back down quicker and there is a different path to take you back. This passes the glamping area which over looks a lake. They looked amazing. We were very fortunate to even see a moose here!! Heading back to Copenhagen we stopped to see two of the six Copenhagen Giants. These are made from palette wood and are stunning in their detail and well worth stopping to see.

A nice way to see more of Denmark

The ride out of the city was smooth and the views at the top of the tower were great! You'll get plenty of time at Camp Adventure (so don't rush the tower hike otherwise you'll be sitting for awhile) and the available food and drinks were tasty (depending on the season there may be multiple food shops open). The two stops to see the giant statues were also a nice way to end the trip.

Worse Service Ever Viator/Hello World

Family of 3 booked last minute for the 28th of November on the evening 27th of November with a toddler and our little 1 got sick as a dog, we reached out to Hello World Tours in Copenhagen hours after booking and they said to reach out to Viator. Hello World Tours offered to rescheduled however it was not till the 30th as they weren't doing tours on the 29th and that's when we were flying out 30th however we were totally able to do it on the 29th but they didn't have an option that day. Spoke to Viator ambassador about our unfortunate events and they didn't even offer a credit whatsoever a simple no refund or option whatsoever. Easy to listen but not to offer a solution which is completely unacceptable.

You booked 2 seats for 3 people and you contacted me an hour before and asked me a refund. According to Viator policies we can't refund last-minute cancellations. We offered a free reschedule to a new date but you didn't accept that.

Beautiful scenery and wonderful art to enjoy! Driver was very friendly and helpful. I rated this a 4 because when reading the description it seems like you are paying to see the Forrest Theater, but you are paying to be driven there and then you pay for admission to the Forrest Theater. You cannot go to view without paying. I think the price should include everything.

A place not to be missed ! A unique nature experiences and offers one of the most beautiful scenery. It’s definitely a tranquilizer for mind and body. The tour is a bit too rush. It would be nice if it comes with picnic ！

The was a great trip. The Forest Tower was truly amazing and the driver was very nice and informative. The 2 Forgotten Giants at the end was delightful. Definitely recommend to get out of the busy city for a half day!
