We had the tour in our first day in Hoi An. We highly recommend starting your visit with this tour. You learn a lot about the area and its history, get to know the locals, witness great scenery and have an overall great time. Of course all this would not be possible without our excellent guide Vy. It was great to learn more about the history of Vietnam, our guide Mr Ken was a great story teller. Our visit to the Marble Mountains was really interesting but we really loved the tour around Hoi An as we visited parts of the city we would not have seen but for this tour. .

This tour was fantastic, mostly because of Vy. She was energetic and had so much information to share with us about Marble Mountain, Buddhism, and the history of Hoi An. She even sat down and had some local street food with us! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a smaller group experience and are really interested in learning about the area and the culture. If you just want to take selfies and add photos to your Insta, then this isn't the tour for you. Ask for Vy when you book!

The marbled mountain was nice but I was not prepared to climb rocks with my family. I also felt the trip guide was pushing us to go to these places to buy cheap touristy items and I isn’t like that the guide was following us everywhere.

Great experience, but too crowded.

The marble mountains and Hoi An are certainly must see destinations, and as a result they become very crowded in the afternoon! I would recommend visiting earlier in the morning perhaps. Our guide, Hong was funny and very knowledgeable about the history of these locations, and deserves 5 stars. Without him, we wouldn't have learned nearly as much. However Hoi An, in particular the night market is so busy. Another negative is that they take you through all the typical tourist shops where you are pressured to buy something. Although these are family owned and highly skilled artisans, it does begin to wear thin. For these reasons, we give the tour 4 stars.

Our tour guide Ken was a fascinating individual as he worked with American GI's during the war and had many great stories to share during our visit. He took us to Marble mountain which had many unique shrines and temples. The evening in Hoi An was fantastic and Ken's choice of restaurant was one of the best meals I have had on this journey so far. I highly recommend you request Ken for this tour.

the tour of Marble Mountain was amazing. We booked the private tour, had a wonderful guide and learned about the history of the area as we walked through the caves and admired the statues. There is much to see and appreciate on this tour, including the Temples, Halls and museums in the Old Town. We ended with a boat ride in the evening and released a candle into the river. It was great to have someone who knew the way around all the sights and to have all of the necessary tickets taken care of. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Ken Was An Amazing Guide on Our Trip to Marble Mountain and Hoi An

Our tour guide Ken made this tour special. We first visited Marble Mountain. Ken lead us through the beautiful site while also giving us a wonderful background of the place. Then we drove to Hoi An. On our way, Ken told us his personal story, which was one of the best parts of the experience. He then led us through ancient Hoi An. We really enjoyed the boat ride along side the night market, beautifully lit up with lanterns. This was a great tour with a wonderful guide.

Our trip to marble mountain was amazing thanks to Kong, our guide. His English was great and easy to follow. Not only was he patient, but he also went above and beyond by capturing stunning photos of us. Kong was very knowledgeable about the area and we felt like we went through so much history thanks to his guide. By the trip's end, he felt more like a friend than a guide.

We had Kong as our guide. It was a wonderful experience. He was such a good guide. English was exceptionally good and easy to understand. He was patient and took a lot of photos with us. The photos he took of us were professionally good. It was almost like weddding pictures. We were really happy to spend time with him. He was more of a friend then a guide by the end of the trip.

Driver and guide were very prompt, the car was immaculate and very comfortable, especially the aircon. Marble mountain was very interesting and our guide gave us some personal insights into his life in the area. The tour was well paced and we never felt rushed. Doing the climb and crawl through on one section of the mountain was excellent. Hoi A walking tour was very informative and also well paced. We really enjoyed the visual serenity of the boat cruise, and even placed a candle in the water. Overall we really enjoyed this tour. Thanks Viator.
