Like almost all the world’s best beaches, this former fishing spot is now a high-end resort area, with five-star hotels from global brands dotting the white sand and teal-blue waters. Despite the area’s development, the miraculously clean beach runs for about 3 miles (5 kilometers), making the crowds seem smaller than they are.
Beyond beachcombing, sunbathing, and taking in the spectacular, mountain-clad views, beachgoers here can also snorkel, sail, surf, paraglide, and more. Visitors tend to pair a beach visit with exploring the nearby Marble Mountains’ pagodas, caves, and fantastic aerial vistas.
This area has spectacular seafood restaurants, so plan to grab lunch or dinner here, too.
The beach is “divided” into public and private stretches (owned by hotels). That being said, most visitors wander freely.
The waves are usually relatively calm and peaceful but do keep an eye out if you’re free swimming or surfing.
There’s no public transport to Non Nuoc Beach. Your best bet is to nab a reservation at one of the many hotels splashed along its length. Otherwise, you can take a taxi or xe om to the area and stroll right to the sand; there’s public beach access near the Hyatt Regency Da Nang.
Da Nang’s rainy season lasts roughly from January to July; travel outside this window if you’re looking for reliably warm and dry weather. That being said, there are typically fewer crowds and lower prices during the rainy season, and the beach is still beautiful, regardless of cloud cover—and it’ll be less hot.
