Company Cancels Tour the Night Before

The company texted us late the night before that they were canceling the tour because not enough people signed up. We had booked over a month in advance. I was duped by Viator, Trip Advisor, and the company when it was advertised "like to sell out." I don't have my money back so far. Had I known earlier, we could have at least booked a different tour.

Fun tour if you are a fan of the 1980’s Dallas show. Got to see a bit of the city first which was interesting then a full on Southfork tour. I loved it.

Amazing how the TV show of “Dallas” reached so many countries…we had people from England, Finland and France in the group. Had some nice conversation with the couple from England and coffee afterwards…the guide was very knowledgeable and made the day terrific!

Dan, our tour guide, was full of energy and information. I found the JFK tour very informative and interesting - addressing all kinds of theories and conspiracies. Southfork was a bit of fun. Our guide around the home was welcoming and shared many stories. There was some excellent memorabilia to look at together with some great old footage of the show.

Loved seeing the ranch as we were taken by John Deere tractor, very funny. Our van driver William was very entertaining.

Great tour, but the drive was rough

The ranch and tour were great for fans of Dallas. Unfortunately the drive there and back from Dallas was not so great. The driver was nice, but doing at least 90mph and swerving in and out of traffic. Almost hit a car, and a pedestrian. All 4 of us onboard felt unsafe.

Nostalgia!

Clean comfortable bus from Dallas to Southfork, with a fun friendly driver. Small museum at the ranch is good, as is the gift shop. Tour of the house was the highlight, full of original decor and props, with the guide full of interesting facts. Don’t forget to go and see the car on the walk back from the house to the gift shop.
