The cooking class was a great way to learn about Emirati food and culture and to taste some signature dishes. Lamin was an excellent teacher. He was patient and explained everything very clearly and i look forward to trying some of the dishes at home.

A great experience

A memorable time making the best chicken and rice I have had for a long time. Not to my merit, I must admit, but to detailed preparation and instructions by Chef Lamin who was kind, patient and with a big smile. Al Khayma Heritage House is also a very special place to visit.

It was very nice to attend the authentic Arabian breakfast lessons by chef LAMIN. I could experience the real cooking activity really enjoyed. One thing to add is would hv been better if I could get some resume so that I could get to know the name of the dish! It was a bit hard to memorize the name of the dish. Besides that I really enjoyed it

My wife and I do cooking classes in every country that we visit. This was the best experience so far! The chef was very knowledgeable of the culture and local cuisine making this a very authentic experience!

I really enjoyed the Emirati authentic cooking class! Chef Lamin was extremely friendly and made the class so informative and fun. He even took the extra time to teach me how to chop and dice properly and made sure to take plenty of photos for me. I had so much fun and will definitely book another class if I ever come back to Dubai. Highly recommend!!

What an incredible experience! Chef Lamin and Chef Ahmad are exceptional teachers, and their passion for cooking truly shines through their instruction as they skillfully blend flavors. Every moment of the class was engaging, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to others. The welcoming ambience and the entire staff added to the fantastic atmosphere. I'm eager to get home and use these new spices to recreate the dishes we learned – it was truly worth every penny.

Chef Lamin provided us with a spectacular experience that made us feel like family as we prepared our individual meals. His patience and delightful attitude allowed us to take pride in our cooking abilities while he gracefully guided us through the special Emarati meal we were preparing. The three course meal was savory and decadent. I have not made a better meal in my life and it could not have been done without his expertise. I would give this a 6 star review if I could.

No meeting area or introductions. Making the appetizer was unique but took way too long. Making the main course was informative but in a small tight room. Each person had their own workstation and equipment which was very good. Chef was very knowledgeable and helpful. All the main ingredients were prepared ahead of time. It was worthwhile learning to cook. After main course you went to the outside and eat your food. The desert was watching someone make, it would have been better if at least you could try. Other recommendation was no recipes were provided, would have been good to ge this info or offered to purchase a cooking book, so you can make at a later stage.

We had the best rooftop cooking class in Old Dubai with Chef Basun! The food and atmosphere was beautiful and Chef Basun was professional, patient and educated us on food and culture in Dubai! Yassin and Ahmed was very helpful! One of the best way to learn about different cultures is through cooking and food. The girls and my honey bunny loved dinner class!

I really enjoyed the Emirati Authentic Cooking class at Al Khayma. Chef Datsun, was extremely patient and professional. I appreciated this the most. It was a nice event to do for the day. I learned that this dish is a little saucier than the Saudi Kansa that I love so much. The biggest thing that I took away from this class was Chef Dasun’s knowledge and emphasis on food safety. I would recommend for a person looking to gain cultural knowledge or just looking for an event to do while visiting the beautiful Emirates. 10/10

best cooking class i ever attended around the world😁 thank you Chef Lamin&cook staff😁chef Lamin made this emirati cooking experience so fun & , i love that its hands-on supervised by chef Lamin & cook helpers, the menu recipes are so delicious, & super cool that the delicious foods i cooked were served to me like a VIP in this michelin star rated restaurant,Al-Khayma😁 i highly recommend this cooking class.

One of the highlights of my visit to Dubai was this cooking class. It was in a Michelin restaurant. We made bread, chicken, rice Multiple spices and a wonderful Chef to teach us. This is a must on your trip. To know this county you must taste their cuisine. Can’t wait to do another cooking experience again
