    Medici Experience

    Walking to the locations of the Medici influence was a wonderful experience. Their influence on Florence culture is seen through out the City of Florence. Also checkout the Basilica of San Lorenzo to see the burial sites of many of the Medici family.

    The guide was very knowlegable and kept us interested. The only disappointment was we did not get to walk the vasari walkway. The tour description should have made this clesr.

    Our guide, Andrea, was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the tour. He also explained what we needed to do to get into Pitti Palace. He recommended an outstanding local restaurant in a quiet neighborhood.
    Not worth it if you know Italian culture

    Although the guide, Elise P, was very knowledgeable, this was not really what I was expecting. I booked the tour in January when the website description gave the impression we would have access to the Medici corridor, not just follow its route from outside. I now realise the corridor is not currently open to the public, but I did not feel this was made clear at the time of booking. Elise told us a lot about Florentine history, art and literature, but I already knew most of what she told us, and we have both walked this route many times before. Overall, therefore, an expensive tour which did not add much to what I already knew. Good however if you are new to the city. Obviously the option for the Pitti Palace or Boboli gardens would also be good if you do not know the city.

    Die Reiseleiterin mit stark italienischem Akzent hat ihre Gruppe zwar freundlich durch die Stadt getrieben, aber insgesamt hätten wir uns die Tour leider sparen können.

Como explicado en la descripción de nuestro tour sobre Viator, el corredor vasariano se ve solamente del exterior " Admire el Palazzo Medici Riccardi y el Duomo, recorra el exterior del Corredor Vasari". De hecho, desde hace mucho tiempo el corredor vasariano está cerrado por mantenimiento y, por lo tanto, no se puede visitar.
