Meet in front of the stairs. From here you will follow the guide in your own vehicle. Please note: The GSMNP will require parking tags for any vehicle stopping longer than 15 minutes. You can purchase your daily or weekly parking tag here: https://www.recreation.gov/activitypass/AP2510.

- This tour requires a 2 person minimum to operate. If you are traveling solo, you may join into an existing tour or pay the 2 person rate.
- It is suggested at least one day pack to carry your gear. If you need us to, one can be provided with advance notice.
- You will be provided nut-based snacks (trail mix and peanut butter crackers). If you might have nut allergies, or do not enjoy the taste of nuts, please bring your own light snack.
- Gratuity of 10-20% is recommended
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

TJ was an awesome guide! We learned about the trees and flowers, birds and insects. He intuitively stopped to teach us about the forest after inclines He set a pace comfortable for our twenty year olds and the seventy year old in our group, yet kept to our four hour time window. We would not have wanted to miss out on this amazing hiking experience in the Smokey Mountains.

Jeremy was incredible- the hike was very educational due to Jeremy’s extensive knowledge. Jeremy was very accommodating to the groups needs and allowed us to progress at a pace that was right for each hiker. Beautiful hike with a wonderful waterfall to cap it off.

Our guide Ben, was awesome. He was filled with so much knowledge and was understanding of everyone's pace. He also had minimum gear and snacks. He was prepared for those unprepared. He made sure we knew what to touch, what not to touch and everything. He gave a lot of history as well. It was a nice experience.
If you are first timer like me. I suggest you train..haha..because on the way there was cool and fine but on the way back. We took the same path and it was more challenging because of the incline. There was times I thought i wouldn't make it..haha..but in the end it was worth it. We hiked to the waterfall in the middle of the mountain and it was so pretty. We also ran into deer and amphibians. We didnt see any bears although it was possible. However Ben prepares you for that as well. I suggest you have a hiking stick. You will need it.
If we get the chance to do it again. I hope we get Ben again
