We are located just to the right of the lighthouse in Harbour Town. You will check-in at the reservation office first prior to heading down to the boat on the pier. Boarding begins 30 minutes prior to departure time.

Things to note: 3 hours to me was just shy of enough time to explore the island- kind of feels rushed. Also the tour should really just include the $90 cost for the golf cart rental- without it the visit would be a waste! The island is too big to be able to effectively explore on foot! Anywho- otherwise loved it! Also it is alarming when the booze cruise boaters roll in, so beware!

The only positive was the bar on the dock with music…the rest of the visit was not as promised. No winery…no lighthouse. Terrible map. Poor directional signs. I would not recommend for anyone

Fun to explore, next year we’ll plan more time. The half day was great to get a sense of the Island, lunch at Freeport was great. Adults must try the “Scrap Iron” if you’re into twisted tea type beverage. Crew on the Vagabond was very accommodating and knowledgeable of the Island.

There didn’t seem to be any coordination between arrival to Daufuskie and activities ie, the bar/restaurant wasn’t available until 11:30.. departure was @ 12:15?? And,,,Little to no info was shared during the ride to the island…

Loved visiting the museum - learned so much!! Was really interested in the Gullah people - their culture and language. The video playing in the museum showed us a lot about them. Loved hearing them speak the language!!

Not worth the expense! Roads Are terribly marked or not marked at all. We traveled a kind way to find the stop empty! There was very little in the way of slave lore! I guess the history museum has it but by the time we saw, or did not see, a few attractions, There was no time to go to the history museum! ISN’T THAT A MAJOR REASON TO VISIT THE ISLAND IN THE FIRST PLACE?!? And $84 for the ferry, and another $84 for the golf car (A necessity!) Was a terrible waste of my money!
