Overview

Cross the Alps to see the most fabulous castle, which comes over many movies and famous cartoons from Disney. You will get inspired with the history of the founder of Castle Ludwig the Second and his "crazy" life-story. During our trip into the Alps, you will see the highest mountains in Germany- Zugspitze, with beautiful lake "Blindsee". We stop there so that you can make unforgettable photos and may drink Coffee with an amazing view of peak! We also can have a stop near Highline 179 - the longest bridge over highway, between two mountains! You even can walk over it (Tickets to be paid on place). And at the end of the day, we will be happy to have some good dinner in the traditional King's brewery (if you want). We will book tickets into the castle for you in advance in Castle Neuschwanstein (Tickets to be paid in cash on place, not incl. in price of tour). Please let us know about your wishes and you will get incredible day in Bayern!

We will pick up you in any hotel or address in Innsbruck or near it, and we will bring you back to the same place. For few Hotels, that situated in walking area of old town and Hotel Ibis Innsbruck and Motel One pickup only from nearest parking place possible (walking distance around 200 meters). Hotels in walking area are Goldener Adler, Weisses Rössl, Hotel Maximilian, Hotel Innsbruck, Altstadthotel Weisses Kreuz . Pick up time could vary apprx. 15 minutes due to possible traffic jams in the road to Innsbruck, please be passion: we are on the way;).

Please take you travel passport (with VISA if needed) with you! You will cross the border. In case of control and no passport, police has right to return you back.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We had a great day visiting the castle. Our guide was really knowledgeable and the castle is spectacular. The tours are very well organised and it was great to have someone take care of everything. The walk up to the castle was also really enjoyable

We had an amazing day with our guide, Marin, on this private, all-day tour to Neuschwanstein castle. The drive was beautiful and not time wasted as Marin has a profound depth of knowledge about the history. He felt like one of the family the entire day and helped us make the most of it. The only way to make the alps and history and scenery any better is by letting Marin show you the way!

Hello to all, this was a wonderful day spent with our guide Anna. She is very attentive and super helpful to your goals for the day. A private VIP tour true and true. Went with our 1 year old and my wife who is 3 months pregnant. Anna even helped pushed our stroller and pulling us up the mountain to make sure we made our tour times. Anna is an excellent guide. She has an incredible knowledge of the history of the family, castles, and area, and she kept up thoroughly entertained all day. The castles are a must see in Germany and the drive from Innsbruck was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Lovely drive through the Alps and stunning views. The suspended bridge walk is one of its kind and highly recommended. Neuschwanstein castle is a pretty sight and good to explore.

The most memorable part of our tour was sitting with Ana and listening to her narration of Ludwig II ‘s life. She was amazing and funny a wonderful driver . She made our day so special. We even learnt to pronounce Neuschwanstein in an almost correct way. Thanks Ana!

The views from the top of the Zugspitze were amazing. Well worth the tour in this one stop. However, seeing Neuschwanstein was the icing on the cake. It is a remarkable sight - beautiful in every detail. All in all, this was a day well-spent. Anna, our guide, was terrific!

I highly recommend Anna as a tour guide. She picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Neuschwanstein stopping at a suspension bridge. She is so sweet and lovely and incredibly knowledgeable about ALL the history of Austria. We learned so much and enjoyed her so much we booked another day with her! It was definitely a worthwhile experience!

It was a delight to spend the day with our guide Anna. The roundtrip to the castle from Innsbruck is like driving through a fairytale. The mountains are beautiful. The castle itself was terrific, something you have to see.

We didn't visit the main castle. We visited only the nearby areas. It was our decision. The tour had booked tickets for the castle. But we found the peripheral area with the lake, forest etc more to our liking and hence spent our time there. On the way back we visited the suspended Bridge. It was both, thrilling and picturesque. Lastly our guide cum driver... Excellent- 5 star service.
