What To Expect
Get back to nature as you experience the untouched rainforest of the Amazon from the luxurious confines of your own resort, the Ceiba Tops Luxury Amazon Lodge. Discover one of the most diverse natural ecosystems on earth as you spot local wildlife with an expert naturalist, cruise the iconic Amazon river, relax at the deluxe lodge and visit the local Yagua tribe for a taste of daily Amazon living.
Spend your first day traveling to Iquitos International airport, arriving in town and then enjoying a 25-mile cruise down the Amazon River to the lodge. Spend the afternoon enjoying a nature hike through the rainforest and dinner back at the lodge, complete with live music. On day two, you'll take a boat ride down the river to a local Yagua Indian village for a chance to interact with the locals, keeping an eye out for the dolphins known to live in the area. In the afternoon, explore the local municipality of Indiana. On your third day, choose between a river cruise or walking tour, transferring back to Iquitos in the afternoon for your flight.

Good value for delicious food, jungle activities, and my own thatched-roof cottage. The cottage took some insistence when the manager said they were gone. After saying four times that I paid for the room solely on the basis of the online picture (straw roof, not motel box), they were no longer gone.

My guide was not the best but he was professional and helpful enough. I could see other guides were better. The lodge is as comfortable as you can get even though it is not luxury at all. But you are in the Amazon. Don't expect luxury! I couldn't hack more days here. Was enough for this city person!
