The prices of package are valid for accommodation at the double or triple room. If you would like add accommodation on single room(s) to your booking, there could be supplement cost. The pre-planned hotels are "1811 Cave Boutique Hotel" - "Zeydem Suites Cave Hotel" for your accommodation on this travel package. You can choose one of them during reservation. If these hotels (which you preferred) are not available for standard/superior rooms on your travel dates, service provider (tour operator) can replace it with an equivalent hotel. IMPORTANT NOTE (SUGGESTION) 1811 Cave Hotel is a historical building and it doesn't have AC in rooms because of that. If you travel in July-August, we highly suggest you make booking to options of Premium Package.
The check-in time of the hotels is 02.00pm, and you can not start use your room before this time. This is about the check-in & check-out policies of the hotels.
The differences between the package options are about the hotel categories. Tour(s), airport transfer(s) and flight ticket levels will be same for all options.
Service provider (tour operator) will send e-tickets of your domestic flights at three days before your departure date. You will not need the print out copies of the tickets for domestic flights. Your passport, and reservation number on the tickets will be enough for get your boarding cards from the desks of airline companies.

Service provider (tour operator) can request your some passport details for the bookings of your flight tickets. If you do not share the details which requested by service provider (tour operator), your domestic flight tickets can not bookable.
You will have 15kg luggage + 8kg hand bag quota per person for each domestic flight. If you will need more luggage capacity, please inform that to service provider (tour operator). There could be some extra fee for luggage quotas more than 15kg. This is exactly about the policies of airline companies.
If your return hotel is different than pick-up hotel, please inform that detail immediately. If you inform that detail after organised your flight tickets, service provider (tour operator) can request extra cost because of the distances between the airports and some hotels. If you inform this type changes on service day (last day of your trip), service provider (tour operator) do not accept this last minute amending and drop you to your pick-up hotel.
If your pick-up / drop-off hotels are inside of airports (IST and SAW airports) service provider (tour operator) do not provide any hotel pick-up / drop-off service.
Hot air ballooning is a fully weather-dependent activity and the Civil Aviation Authority determines whether the flight will be held. If your flight is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, you are entitled to a partial refund. In such a case, your refund will be processed by the day after of that trip. Your refund rate will be the difference between options of "included balloon ride" and "excluded balloon ride" for the cancellations of the hot air balloon ride.
The Standard Balloon Ride has an One-hour approximately flight duration with 20 to 28 people capacity basket. The flight duration could be 50-55 minutes or 65-70 minutes. This situation depend the weather conditions before landing, and pilots are decide to that within the safety rules of Civil Aviation Authority. Total activity duration is approximately 3 hours.
If you do not use any service or give up join to activities / tours / airport transfers, that's meaning is going to be last minute cancellation. Because of that, there is not going to be any refund for that.
Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required.
Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking.
The children who 5 years old and under are not allowed to balloon tours.
Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults. If you will be 1 adult + 1 child, service provider (tour operator) can request & charge the amount of 2 adults.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 3 days in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 3 full days before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 3 full days before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 3 full days before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Really loved this tour. Only did 2 days but wish I could stay longer to get to know it better. The hotel was great, very relaxing l. Downside there is only one restaurant and off the main strip. Our tour guide was good. He tried to be accommodating to the groups needs. Lunch was a little late one day, good idea for snacks. The balloons taking off were breathtaking with the scenery. Really loved the cave monasteries

Wow what a memorable experience even if we didn’t had the chance to do the hot air balloon activity. Everyone in the team from drivers, hotel staff and of course tour guides were helpful, polite and friendly. I will 100%recommend it!

My trip which I had planed with 3 months of anticipation and reservations, was cancelled by you one day before my trip and one week before the event. You can imagine our surprise and frustration! The excuse from the operator was that there was no more flights due to the holidays! and that they had only started booking the flight due to Viators one week cancellation policy! Of course there were flights but the prices were much higher, reason the operator cancelled. My suggestion to all persons planning to include the flight as part of the tour package that they "Don't"... or your bound to expect the same treatment!

Dear Cesar We requested some passport details for book the flight tickets but received those details too late. Your travel dates are at the Ramadan Feast period (9 days holiday for locals) and the most of flights are fully booked when you sent us the details. The timings of the available scheduled flights was not work for you can do this tour. This tour needs early morning departure flight on first day and late afternoon/evening flight on second day. But those flights are fully booked when we received your passport details. Usually we are skipping the cancellation policy and taking the risk about loose money for the periods of public holiday periods (like Ramadan Feast Holiday). And are booking the flight tickets instantly when we receive any booking to this period. The problem of cancellation to your booking was not about the cost of flight tickets. It was about the timings of available flights. Kind Regards

Well Worth It

This was an amazing experience to the guided tour of all the amazing sights in Cappadocia, the cave hotel (one of my favorite hotels Ive stayed in my life) and the absolute peak of the hot air balloon tour (a must add to your bucket list)! The logistics were all handled from flights to transportation and lunch, there were only a few hiccups. We had a pretty large group and I assume that they didn't book our flights until the last minute incase we cancelled but it meant our group was separated on the flight. The other real issues was with our shuttle once we landed back in Istanbul. It was over an hour & a half late which really ended the experience on a negative as a whole.

Dear Emma Thank you so much for post your review for our services. *** About the return transfer rom Istanbul airport to your hotel.: The drive duration of this transfer is alrady approx one hour for the normal traffic status in Istanbul. If there are busy trafic status, this time is being 75 minutes to 100 minutes. As you know, we or any other tour operator can not stop all the traffic in city for transfer you from airport to your hotel. The tour operators does not have this power. *** About your flight tickets : We always book the flight tickets 4-5 days before the departure dates. As you know, you have free cancellation right on your end and nobody pay the cost of flight tickets to tour operators if you cancel your booking less 3-4 days before the departure date. That's why, we booked your flight tickets 4 days before your departure date. *** The second point about the tickets : Ticketing system of airline company is accceptin max 9 people for per ticketing. That's why, we booked first tickt for 9 people and booked second ticket for 3 people. Your all other review is showing how we operated your trip very well. No 1811 cave hotel

Organising Everything without a glitch!

What can I say without sounding like I have received bribery from the company?! 😂 Everything was so perfect from the minute we booked to the end of our trip! Communication was spot on. Instructions were given almost immediately after we booked - and we did booked v last minute! Every tour guides that guided us was very knowledgeable and friendly even the drivers too. Our hotel (1811 Cave) I can honestly said they were one of the best hotel & the most amazing hospitality you could have ever received from the people that runs it. Now the hot air balloon experience: totally worth it! Try it for yourself and definitely with this company - their organising skills are just superb

We had a good time at Cappadocia. But was a bit annoyed with the time management part from the agency’s end. We were rushed and were not even able to have breakfast that we had paid for. For example the balloon ride booked through your agency dropped us back by 9.50 at the hotel and we were picked up for the tour by 10 again by your guide. We were given 10 mins to reach our room, freshen up ,have the buffet breakfast on the 4th floor by climbing steps which never happened. Both the days this was the case.

Dear Sandy, First of all, we never charge breakfast cost from guests for the day 1. This is about the hotel policies at all around world. You know, if you did not check in to room you can not get breakfast at hotel and the check in time of the hotels is 02.00pm at all around world. You should be known that if you are a traveller. The second day, you called our office and requested late departure minimum 45 minutes for collect your luggages and breakfast. Of course we rejected your request about the 45-60 minutes. Because you are not alone at the tour, other participants can not wait for you collect your luggages. Everybody knows that, guests are collecting their luggages a few hours before pick-up time of guided tour. For help you, we replaced the processing of the pick-up time of the hotels and we started collect other guests from last hotel and we picked you up lastly. And we gave you extra (approx) 30 minutes with this way. also group waited you approx 10-15 minutes more at the car. 10.00am is your first pick up time which informed by us to you one day before. But we picked you up around 10:40am-10.45am. You could be right, this is not enough for collect your luggages and take your breakfast on tour pick-up time. But enough time for breakfast if you collected your luggages like other guests. And if you respect to other participants of the tour which you joined. Kind Regards

Balloon ride cancelled, just a short trip out of Istanbul

First the positive. All staff were helpful and nice. Good communication and fast refund through WhatsApp. Zeydam hotel stay was great. Huge rooms built in a cave and nice to chill at. The not-so good. Balloon ride was cancelled due to weather. Wind over 10 knots shuts it all down. This is common in the winter. You can see decision for next day. Google Cappadocia aviation authority. So now youre stuck with a very inconvenient schedule. Early pick up - 4am, late drop off - 12 am, lots of waiting and transfer time. The tours include stores to sell you on rugs, leather clothing, spice, pottery. Lunch was a low quality buffet. I advise you tell the tour to take you to a local restaurant and skip the stores. Or book a trip to the area on your own. Fly into NAV. The hotels can manage tours and balloon ride for you. It is beautiful country side with down to earth people.

Not to us. As you know, we and tour operators do not manage the weather conditions and these cancellation because of the poor weather conditions is for your safety. Your dissatisfaction about the timing of this tour ; there are no any more chance for you can do two full-day guided trip and hot air balloon ride within 2 days. The guided tours are starting around 09.30am - 10.00am and you have to get an early morning flight for catch these tours. Also, hot air balloon rides are organise only at sunrise timing (04.00am to 08.00am), And there are no any chance you can do this ride any time of day. If you want do this tour with more and more relax timing, you need do this trip for four days. But the price is going up X2. We have already give you approx timings for each day on the descriptions of this tour. We think you have already read the descriptions.

Good option if you have active kid(s)

This is a good little two day tour. Did it with my 9 year old and we had a lot of fun. Only recommendations would be: 1) if traveling with a kid or anyone else who cannot do early mornings, ask in advance about getting a later flight and meeting up with the group later in the day or going solo (we did this and it was worth it to not be overtired) 2) the hot air balloon ride really does entail getting up at like 3am so don’t bother booking that if you can’t do early mornings and a long second day. Otherwise, though, this is a good trip for an active kid and adults. Lots to do, lots to see, good food options, etc.

The balloon flight was spectacular and the cultural tour and our guide were great. The first part day one was great got to see some interesting sites the accommodation was good and the balloon flight was awesome after the balloon ride and breakfast back at the hotel it went down hill we were taken to carpet stores / jewellery outlets and it became a pushy sales day After being up at 3 am thursday morning then a 4 am Friday start for the balloon ride it is exhausting and the flight back to Istanbul wasbooked late so didn’t get back to the hotel till 1 am Saturday morning If they cut out the shopping trip and returned you on an earlier flight it would be great Beware

Thoroughly enjoyed our two days, between the two tours of the region, the hot air balloon ride, the hotel and transport. Everything was well organised and comfortable, allowing us to sit back, relax and enjoy the trip which we had looked forward to for months. The only hiccup we had was being picked up from the airport and dropped at a hotel that wasn't ours; there had been a change to the schedule which wasn't communicated to us but this was quickly investigated and explained by the hotel reception. Our guides were informative and friendly, ensuring that we made the most of our time in Cappadocia.

This was an incredible experience for us, the whole 2 days were amazing! Viator was outstanding we had no issues at all. Pickups, flights, hotels, tour guide everything was on point. The hot air balloon ride.... INCREDIBLE, emotional and very moving...did I say we loved it! The history of Cappadocia and the landscape is truly a must see. Our tour guide "The Man" was so knowledgeable and gave us a great tour. He was fun, passionate, organized and informative. We enjoyed all of the places we visited as much as the hot air balloon ride as there is such a great story to tell here. We stayed at 1811 Cave Hotel it was just beautiful, the views outstanding the room was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and the service was great. We could have spent more time in Cappadocia as there is so much to see and learn. I'm sure you could organize this on your own and spend less, if you had more time, but it was convenient for us and just so well organized and stress free. Most importantly you would not have "The Man" as your tour guide, we loved him....you know who you are!!!
