    We will be holding a board of : "GOLDEN CITY TOURS'' in front of Kabataş Şehir Hatları İskelesi. Please be there at least 30 minutes earlier. For April and May; Kabataş pier is under reconstruction, so we will meet 50 meters further, in front of the gas station; near the road.

It was a really good trip. While there were tours with wine also available we didn’t prefer it. This tour worked out perfectly. It was my wife, my 3 year old and I. The boat wasn’t crowded and everyone got their own space. They served a generous amount of snacks. We saw dolphins and the boat slowed down so we could take a closer look. It was amazing. I would have one suggestion however would be to improve the PA system for the guided tour. Better quality without static would make it a far nicer experience since the static at that volume can be quite jarring. I would recommend this trip early on in your vacation as it does give you a lay of the land. And you sort of understand the geography of Istanbul early enough to be able to make minor adjustsments to your schedule based on what you like to do

A relaxing break

This was a relaxing couple of hours spent on the Bosphorus. Nice views from the "luxury yacht" and the commentary kept us informed as to what we were seeing onshore. It would have been nice if they started off with information about the boat. For example, there was no safety briefing, which would have been a big issue in the States. Where were the life jackets located? Did they even have enough onboard for all passengers? It also would have been nice to know where the toilets were located. We got onboard, found a seat and stayed put the entire journey. The hard-working crew brought snacks and drinks. It was amazing to watch them navigate the motion of the boat while serving hot tea when we could barely stand up to take pictures!

It was well organised. We found them easily at the meeting point, the boat was lovely. They provided snacks, canapés and a drink; however, that could have been spaced out a bit better. We were also offered blankets; those could have been left with customers as it was getting colder later. The view was amazing and beautiful. It was well worth.

This was a slow 2 hour cruise on a smaller boat (about 40-50 passengers)up and down the Bosporus strait coast. Cost was $50 per person as opposed to 13 euros for larger tours. Took great photos but I have no idea what I saw. The Spanish guide for a group of 4 Argentinians was yelling the Spanish narration over the English version and sitting between me and the P.A. System. Nowhere else to move to by the time this started—sadly we were first on the boat but could not sit inside as that table was reserved (for the Argentinian guests who decided they wanted the outdoor table once everyone was on board). I chose the smaller more expensive tour thinking that I would get more information out of the tour. Sadly I was wrong because of the situation described above. If I had to do it again I would just pay 13 euros and join the masses.

Comfortable cruise with good commentary

I think a Bosphorus river cruise is a must when you go to Istanbul. We got to see sights on both banks, although it would be nice to have also sailed up the Golden Horn a bit more. The guide was great. Loves his commentary and little stories about his family and the places we saw. I would suggest not booking too early because the weather really makes a difference. It was raining when we went so things were a little more dreary and it was more difficult to get good photos. The crew took care of us tho and provided blankets. Thanks Golden City Tours!

It is a great experience, if you want to know Istanbul better you can definitely go, the explanations were complete. The only tip I can give is I think you would enjoy it way more if you go during summer.
