Overview

Learn the art of block printing and make two of your own hand-made souvenirs with this private workshop. Using a combination of hand-carved wooden stamps and colorful dyes made from natural materials, you’ll print designs on two items of your choice (choose from scarves, aprons, or tote bags). While your creations dry, you’ll join your hosts at a traditional vegetarian lunch, which can be prepared with dietary restrictions in mind.

    This experience was worth it from beginning to end! Before testing out a few blocks we received excellent instruction. Once we felt comfortable it came time to make our special keepsakes. And the meal was delicious! We also took this class on our final day in Jaipur and had to account for our travels. Everyone was very accommodating. This class will make for a wonderful addition to your time in the Pink City!

    This was the highlight of our trip! Such a fun day learning this gorgeous printing technique from the pros, and in such a pretty, peaceful setting in the city. The lunch served afterwards was delicious, a lovely way to finish off the experience.

    The hospitality, the beautiful space, the patience, the excellent detailed workshop where we got to print a 2 meter scarf, a tote bag and an apron with custom colors made before our eyes. Super bonus was the rooftop organic garden used to make us the most delicious lunch after the workshop! In the end still dropped us off at our next destination. The absolute highlight of our time in India so far.

    My daughters and I did the block printing class. We had the best time and left with beautiful scarfs and totes. It was fun to see how our different personalities were expressed in our art. The class was perfect and I’d recommend it while in Jaipur. The traditional lunch was also one of the best meals I’ve had in India!
