    A must see!

Warren was our tour guide today and he was BRILLIANT! He gave so much interesting information about the canyon and the geology of the area. The canyon was stunning despite it still being a bit frozen. Definitely would recommend! The walk isn’t too strenuous and there are plenty of hand rails to make it accessible!

Not only was this a beautiful place to visit, Daniel, my guide was truly a pleasure. So personable & knowledgeable. I appreciate that the tour went as scheduled even though it ended up as a solo tour. Thank you
Maligne Canyon - the only way.

We had a very small group only 4 people. Our guide Ben had a great depth of knowledge explaining the Geology, Fauna and Flora of the area. With only 4 people we were able to take an our time and get many great pictures. Starting at the top and walking down hill was an absolute bonus, and we were able to bypass the crowd. Would highly recommend this tour and thank you Ben.
    Beautiful hike!!

We were a little worried that the hike would be too slow for us but as it turns out the hike was great because our expert Guide, Neil, included some beautiful vistas, some challenging rocky paths, long paths and waterscapes and a idyllic place to have our lunch! Neil was informative and knowledgeable and I would recommend his hikes to anyone!
    A must-do canyon hike

Terry treated us to a most interesting and engaging tour. Be sure to ask for her! Maligne Canyon is beautiful on so many levels. I don't usually take a lot of video, but because so many of the best moments involved loud, moving water, still pictures are insufficient. If you have time for only one canyon in the Rockies, I recommend Maligne over Johnston.
Nice walk but not a hike
    Patrick_M, Aug 2023
It's not really a hike it's a walk , very touristy and could easy be done by yourself without a guide in an hour. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable but don't expect a wilderness adventure.

Our guide, John, was very professional, informative, knowledgable, and made the experience most enjoyable even allowing for weather and a free mud bath 😉😉.
    Lovely Hike
    Rupal_D, Jun 2023
Beautiful hike, guide was very knowledgeable and patient. The trails weren’t too difficult but a hiking pole or shoes with really good treads are needed bc the limestone is very slippery at certain points.
    Well spent afternoon

Lutz is a very knowledgeable guide. We learned a lot about the area, the geography, the plants, everything. He has a great sense of humor and was helpful on the hike. Hiking boots and shoes not necessary but sure are helpful. The details and time for this adventure were spot on.

Was a fabulous adventure. The canyon and racing waters were incredible. Really beautiful. Jeff, our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. It is mostly downhill so not a cardio workout but still challenging.
    All about our guide, Annaja
    Timothy_G, May 2022
This trip was all about our guide Annaja Davis. What a star. We were booked on the Maligne Canyon Hiking Tour but our previous days tour (with a different company) was necessarily adapted as the late spring made the advertised hike impossible, as a consequence we had already done 80% of the Canyon! Annaja could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Clearing it with her control, she took us off in the opposite direction and we had a great experience gently hiking the Valley of the Five Lakes. Friendly, informative and completely 'in tune' with our needs Annaja made our day. She simply could not have done any more to accommodate us. Wonderful experience and great advert for Canadian hospitality.
Definitely going back in the summer!
    Kyra_P, Dec 2021
Went on this hike in the beginning of December & honestly it was so worth it! I was afraid it would be very cold and there wouldn’t be many views, but it was gorgeous and the hike was amazing for someone who doesn’t usually hike. Our tour guide (Jeff) was amazing & very knowledgeable, we learned a lot and got some beautiful pictures!
    Thank you Wendy.
    Susan_B, Sep 2021
Wendy was personable and she presented the info well. We asked her more personal questions about her life experiences living in Jasper and she was more that willing to share. Wonderful experience. Thank you, Wendy.

Out tour guide Jeff was very good. He took the time to adjust accordingly to our pace and explained things properly. Would not think twice of going with him for another tour or recommending him to friends and family.
