From the veery beginning Buddhi made sure everything was well taken care of and that I knew what to expect on the trip. Neither of us could predict that the weather would rapidly change and our small tour group would have to spend the night in the Himalayans mountains. But again, Buddhi made sure everything was taken care of. He secured a local guide to take us to a small and authentic village to stay in a Tea House which was fabulous. The hosts were so hospitable and place was amazing as was the food. our guide took us back to the pick-up point the next morning in what was a wonderfully little hike with clear skies and stunning views. Even though the weather unexpectedly changed our plans, Buddhi stayed in touch with us through the entire time and had everting under control even helping me extend my hotel. All of our group suggested to Buddhi that they should add an overnight stay to their package. It was an amazing experience. The way they took care of use shows how much they are committed to customer service.

On trip had to be cancelled due to visibility issues. I give the company 5 stars because they were in constant contact in keeping us updated regarding conditions and they provided a full refund even though the trip was cancelled the morning of trip due to weather. I would highly recommend them and plan on coming back and allowing a few extra days so I can make this once in a lifetime trip.

Pretty much everything was memorable. Once in a lifetime trip. All was explained to us by our guide, and the helicopter pilots checked on the passengers a few times. My suggestion to others is just be prepared mentally to stick it out if you're not the best flyer. Don't do this if you're bored, or not sure. Once you're up the helicopter pilots can't do much until you land at the next prepared stop.

This was my first trip to Nepal and a recurring ideology I’ve noticed in the Nepalese culture is the impermanence of life and how little time we have to be alive… you can make the money back; the memories are forever. Seeing Everest that close up was awe inspiring. I felt completely safe. Breakfast was the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen. We had to wait at the Everest view hotel while our helicopter did a rescue but it was the best place on the world to spend an extra hour. I felt like our safety was always a priority.

Worth every penny. The pilot was an absolute boss. She was amazing. The views, the experience of walking around with the peak of Everest right there, incredible. Take it all in, enjoy the moment, take lots of pics and videos of your team and trust the pilot.

What a lovely experience! Kalapatthar weather was perfect for a clear view of Mt. Everest. Couldn't go to the cafe for safety reason as the weather became cloudy soon after. Took a short trip to Lukla village instead.

Great bucket list experience

This was a great scenic flight and I really lucked good weather with beautiful clear skies. Having since met people who have done scenic helicopter flights with other companies on other days I know that my experience was excellent. Buddhi was very well organised and the whole experience was well run. The only advice I would give is that you need to allow several days in Kathmandu to give you the best chance for clear weather and if you love photography take a second person with you who doesn't. Whilst everyone gets a window seat from Pheriche to Kala Patthar, the views from Kathmandu and Lukla are great too. The multi course breakfast and view at the Everest View hotel are really good. You should also download the AlpineGuide app - I didn't know about this until further travels in Nepal - real time bluetooth app that labels the mountains that you are looking at with the height - very handy.

A dream come true

This was the best trip of our lives, as close to heaven one can be, literally and metaphorically. The views were breathtaking. The captain was skilled. I was a bit scared because of potential altitude sickness but it was fine. The tour operator Mr. Buddhi was reliable and very genuine. There are many scams on heli rides, my experience with Prabhu helicopters in Pokhara was very bad but this one from kathmandu was brilliant. Highly highly recommend it. Totally worth the money. The two stops pheriche and hotel everest views before landing on kala pathar were amazing as well. We could see mt everest, kumbhu falls, lotse, namche, amadablum, tabuche it was spectacular. Sit on the left from kathmandu to lukla and on the right from lukla to pheriche or pheriche to kala pathar.

My internet isn’t good enough here to upload my photos, but know they are quite breathtaking. Here is my review. Well, today I can officially say I’ve been to 17,000ft and have seen Mt Everest & Base Camp. We got picked up at 5am and headed to the airport. Had an awesome group, was 5 of us all together and we were all the same age as well. We left Kathmandu around 7am and headed for the Himalayas. Was my first time in a helicopter so that was exciting as well. Only bummer about the whole thing is how bad the pollution is this time of the year. Almost the whole 45 minute flight to first stop Lukla you can barely see anything and know if you have a clear day it will be a very breathtaking ride. We refueled in Lukla and switched to a high altitude pilot. That is probably the scariest runway I’ve ever seen, thank goodness we weren’t taking airplane. From Lukla it was about a 7 minute flight to the halfway point and we split into two groups to go to the 17,000ft view point. Was so cool getting to fly over Base Camp! You don’t stop at Base Camp because you can’t see Everest from it, but you stop above it. You’re only allowed to outside the helicopter for about 5 minutes so you don’t get altitude sickness, but was an amazing 5 minutes. By the end of it I could tell I was getting dizzy and my heart was pumping quite fast. You only can see the peak, but so worth it knowing Everest is right there. Our absolutely amazing guide Butti gave us prior warning that when we arrive at Hotel Everest View for breakfast we could be waiting there for many hours to get back. The week we went is the prime window of the year people either make the trek to Base Camp or start the climb to the summit. He said there was about 1300 people at base camp and Nepal so many helicopters and a handful of high altitude pilots so they are constantly being called for medical evacuations. Breakfast was alright, but you’re really there for the amazing view, as the name says you get a great view of Everest from the balcony. We had perfect weather clouds started coming in around 1pm and we didn’t mind in the least getting a few extra hours to hang out at the hotelS Overall, was an amazing day, we got to spend a bit of time in Lukla, cause they pilot got called again. So we got to walk around Lukla for a while and enjoyed a beer at the Irish Pub. I highly recommend especially this tour of you can budget it out, it’s truly a once in a lifetime experience. All of us also couldn’t stop raving about how wonderful our guide Butti was organizing the whole thing.

Amazing experience to see Mount Everest

Amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience! Highly recommend. From flying into the world’s most dangerous airport to going all the way up to Kala Patthar to see one of the most incredible views of Mount Everest, every moment was fantastic. I unfortunately got food poisoning the night before and the guide was super accommodating to make sure I was recovering, even stopping at a pharmacy on the way back to my hotel.
