    Great for short visit
    Claire_M, Feb 2024
A great all day trip. Pick up was earlier than advertised, however everyone had a nap on way to first stop. Coach trip to first two sites then smaller group on minibus to salt mines. A lot of walking involved, be prepared. Tour guides very informative at all sites. Lunchbox was delicious. Would recommend this trip if only away for weekend. Fell asleep at 19.30 back at hotel after all the walking.

Long but enjoyable day, well worth it
    Sharon_W, Jan 2024
Well organised trip at Auschwitz with headsets but due to the size of the group (31) and the amount of walking, we sometimes missed the guides explanations as she'd started b4 we arrived, same at the Sallt Mines, great day overall though 👍

Thank you for your positive feedback! We appreciate your insights on the group size and will consider it for future tours.
Got to see everything, but not the best organised trips
    Ana_S, Jan 2024
We got to see the 2 promised locations, and transported there and back. But the “tour” itself is more just a transportation service. It lacked a little organisation, and we were stood around at times wondering what’s happening. The driver was just that - a driver who handed out tickets and gave very little information in hard to understand english sometimes. The only opportunity to have lunch is on the actual bus after the first tour, by which time you are starving. (You have to bring your own or order it from them before.) The bus was full of crumbs already from previous tours already so it just seems like a flawed system. We got to Auschwitz an hour early and were waiting around having “free time” in freezing cold in their poorly equipped parking lot which only had one working coffee vending machine. (So you spend all your free time queuing with nowhere to sit). Not the tour company’s fault - but such a strange choice. On the way back to the salt mines the bus stops and we had to move to a mini-van to go to the salt mines. The announcement to move from the bus to the van was so vague that we were a bit confused, so I totally see why the previous reviews said that they missed it. But the drivers did seem to check and double check that the right names/people got on the van after. For both locations, an in-house tour guide takes over and we meet the drivers back at the buses, so overall it seems like the only benefits of booking the trips this way is to get transported there and back and have someone book and hand over the tickets. Be sure to bring snacks. The entire day lasted about 11-12 hours, and the quick breaks are usually not enough to get anything more substantial than a hot drink and quick bite (other than the lunch on the bus that’s on the way to the salt mines).

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that some parts of the tour didn't fully meet your expectations. We aim to provide clear communication and comfortable transport, and we're looking into ways to enhance the organization and clarity for our guests.
    Unpleasant staff
    Jacob_S, Jan 2024
Tour guide was a bit of a smug. Driver/ tour guide of salt mine group didnt care to give any details. Just handed out the ticket. Everything was rushed so the salt mine group can catch the salt mine tour Turned out that the salt mine tour is at 17:00 Given that time, the departure time should be an hour later so more time to see Auscwitchz 1 and 2 or at a slower pace. Lack of coordination of the tour guide/s and drivers.
    Response from Host, Mar 2024
Thank you for your feedback. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations and apologize for any perception of haste or lack of detail provided by our team. Our tours are carefully scheduled in accordance with the guidelines and time slots given by the sites we visit, including Auschwitz-Birkenau, to ensure that all guests have the opportunity to participate in all planned activities. The timing is designed to comply with the museum's strict schedule and to accommodate the logistics of visiting multiple locations in one day, including the necessary breaks. We understand the importance of pacing and strive to balance the experience across all sites visited. Your comments are invaluable to us as we continue to refine our tours to offer the best possible experience within the constraints we face. Thank you for choosing our tour, and we hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future.
Avoid 'Cracow Visit' - terrible organisation
    KatherineLucy_M, Jan 2024
Both places are definitely worth visiting, but the lack of organisation by the tour provider was horrendous. We were informed the day before (less than 24 hours so no refunds at this point) that our start time was being changed from 8.30am to 6.10am. I understand a slight change, but 2.5 hours is ridiculous. The tour was two full buses of 60 people so the company was definitely aware of ticket availability more than 24 hours before. Way too many people on the buses for Auschwitz so getting everyone back on time was problematic at every stop. The Auschwitz/Salt mine joint tour didn't actually exist - they just linked two independent tours. The 15 or so of us who were doing both were left at a petrol station and told to wait for another minibus/driver. He arrived after half an hour and told us we had to wait a further half hour for another bus to drop more people off who were joining us. Worth visiting both places, but avoid 'Cracow Visit' as a tour company - terrible organisation, constant waiting around in the freezing cold, and zero customer service. The whatsapp telling us of the time change also clearly stated that failure to turn up at that time would mean no refunds. Complete scam.
    Response from Host, Mar 2024
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and concerns. We're genuinely sorry to hear about the challenges you faced during your tour. The change in start time, as you've noted, can indeed be significant. This adjustment is made in direct response to the scheduling requirements and regulations set by the museum, which sometimes necessitates changes even at short notice. We understand how this can impact your plans and appreciate your flexibility and understanding in these instances. Regarding the tour arrangement between Auschwitz and the Salt Mine, we strive to ensure a seamless experience. However, due to the varying numbers of participants for each part of the tour and the logistical requirements, transitioning between the two locations sometimes requires adjustments, such as waiting for the appropriate transportation. We recognize that this waiting time, especially in uncomfortable weather, is far from ideal and we are continually looking for ways to minimize it and improve the overall organization of the tour.
    Well organiser very informative trip

What a wonderfully organised trip. Very informative. Thanks very much. Bus operators were exactly on time and everything ran like clockwork

    The worst experience
    Jenifer_A, Jan 2024
We went to Auschwitz-Birkenau and when we were heading to the Salt Mines the bus stopped to divide the people going to Kraków and the ones going to the Mines. They didn't even check everyone was in the right bus. We lost our money and couldn't go to the Salt Mines and they didn't give us a solution or at least a refund of the ticket price and they were also so disrespectful saying it was our fault when the normal thing in a tour is to check that everyone in the list is inside the bus. The worst experience ever.
    Response from Host, Mar 2024
Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the distress and inconvenience you experienced during the tour. We always aim to ensure clear communication and proper organization so that all our guests can enjoy their planned visits without any issues. Our procedure includes checking the presence of all participants at each transition point, and we rely on our guests to follow the instructions provided by the tour leader for moving between locations. We regret any misunderstanding or communication gap that may have occurred, leading to your unfortunate experience.

Trio to Auschwitz and salt mine
    penny_y, Dec 2023
Excellent informative tours with friendly drivers. A long day but we’ll worth it. Well organised. Auschwitz in the morning and salt mine in the afternoon.
    Response from Host, Mar 2024
Thank you for the excellent review! We're so pleased you found the tours informative and well-organized. Glad it was worth the long day!
    Highly recommend!
    Hannah_D, Dec 2023
Really well organised and enjoyable tour! Would really recommended. Jam packed day though, you wouldn’t want to be tired.
    Amazing experience
    Dawn_M, Dec 2023
A very moving experience our tour guide was so passionate and his knowledge was amazing. He really made this a most memorable experience. The salt mines were amazing..lots of walking so wear comfortable footwear and very warm so wear layers so you can take layers off! Highly recommend! We did both tours in one day…very tiring but thoroughly enjoyed our day!
I would waste your time on the salt mine
    Emma_F, Dec 2023
It was a very long day doing both in one day. Auschwitz was very interesting and definitely worth the visit. We didn’t really enjoy the salt mines as much and to be honest couldn’t wait for the tour to be over. Guides and transport were excellent.
A full day and nicely organised tour
    Tatiana_I, Dec 2023
Even though it was around a 12 hours tour, we enjoyed all the experiences. Had to walk a lot (Auschwitz I, Auschwitz-Birkenau and the salt mine) but this was our choice. You can, also, see them separately, in different days. Good organisation of the tour.
    Amazing experience
    Gillian_G, Nov 2023
The amount of information was brilliant everything was explained in full detail. Seeing the places the people slept was so sad Only thing I will say when booking a tour you pick your location to be picked up from and we got a text to say that it was not the pick up point that we had to meet somewhere else
    Good but Long day
    Ryan_E, Nov 2023
Great tour, it was a long day getting picked up at 8am and not getting back till 8pm but worth it. The coach to Auschwitz was comfortable, and was kept well informed was given a good tour around Auschwitz with a knowledgeable guide before a small break before a quick drive to birkenau camp and a slightly shorter tour around there. We finished that part of the tour around 3pm driving back to Krakow we were delayed by some bad traffic which meant we was quickly hurried off the coach to a mini van to just make the salt mine tour in time finishing after 7 and then a drive back to Krakow
    Well-Organized Day Trip
    Kayla_W, Nov 2023
This was a well-organized day trip. It was full of information, and our guides were very knowledgeable. I think the two hours in the salt mine is excessive. Our guide was great, but a shorter tour in the salt mine would be preferable.
    Powerful experience, well-organized tour
    Alice_C, Nov 2023
The tour was great! They took us on a bus to Auschwitz and had a guide take our group from there and walk through both sites with really good exhibitions and explanations. Really powerful artifacts and stories. We were then split into people going to the salt mine and those not, and I think the salt mine was very interesting as well. We were also taken to a guide who explained about the mine, which was very interesting. She spoke a little too softly but was fine if you stood close to her. (It seems both guides were employed by their respective sites, not this tour company.) We had time on the bus to eat - just make sure to bring your own lunch, though you could also buy from the tour company. The only thing that was lacking was the pickup info - I was asked over Whatsapp to change my pickup location and time twice, but it wasn't that big a deal. Pickup was at 6:30 for arrival at Auschwitz around 8:45.
Great experience apart from 2nd driver
    Mandy_T, Nov 2023
Our first driver who took us to Auschwitz and birkneu was fab very helpful and info brilliant as the tour guide her knowledge was well educated in her knowledge of the camps. Our second trip which was to the salt mines our driver well who drives in dark with shades on 🙄 Trip to salt mines itself was fab it’s just wow Then we finished at 7 and driver told us to wait where he dropped us off said be there for 7.15 pm but he didn’t arrive till 7.45 and it was freezing 🥶 felt very crushed in van also no apology for being late and way to busy texting on his phone while driving on busy roads not fully focused this would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for our second driver didn’t seem bothered 😕
    Powerful trip
    Gail_T, Nov 2023
Very powerful. Great guide with lots of information and given plenty of time to get round everything. Great group of people.
very good tour but a very long day
    yvonne35, Nov 2023
An unforgettable experience at Auschwitz. Our guide Lucas was brilliant told the story with compassion and honesty. Hard to comprehend things at times. Salt mine tour was very good. I would recommend doing this on a different day as very tiring doing one after the other and was late when we finished at the salt mines so no time for coffee and a snack as they were waiting to close.
