    Awful driver ruined the experience

    Don’t wanna take anything away from the highlands, they are very beautiful and definitely worth visiting! Just hope that you don’t have the same driver we had. We were very disappointed by the following: 1) The duration of the trip: As communicated, we expected the trip to last from 7:00-19:00, but apparently our driver wanted to “beat the traffic” so he unanimously decided not to take us to some attractions in the highlands. We barely got to spend 2 hours in the highlands, and thus didn’t get our money’s worth. 2) Be prepared for a driver who will not stop talking and will not respect your boundaries: Our driver would not stop talking. It’s one thing to talk endlessly about the history of the place (we wouldn’t have minded that), and it’s a completely different thing if he talks a lot of rubbish and oversteps boundaries. Nobody wants to hear why and where he uses his Vaseline (trust me, it got very graphic at one point), nobody wants to hear his recipe of making chicken and rice. And despite us telling him that we wanted to rest in the car or just enjoy the scenery in peace, he would keep nagging us and also had the audacity to call our names repeatedly until we had no choice but to answer him. I like to think of myself as a person with a lot of energy, but he fully drained us. He was disrespectful, made fun of the way we slept - very unacceptable. Oh, and get ready for his non-stop rant of how Hinduism is the best religion in the world and every other religion/culture is “evil”.
