    Best Tour Guide in Kyoto

    We had the most memorable time with Kosuke! He took us to all the places we wanted to see as well as hidden local gems. Kosuke was a very knowledgeable and thoughtful guide who went above and beyond in every way.

    Kosuke was amazing! English is great, very friendly and knowledgeable of all sites, and as a former Taxi Driver, knows how to get around Kyoto👍 Van had lots of room as well. Will book for our next visit, without hesitation.

    Kosuke was the best tour guide we met in Japan! He was extremely communicative before the tour and was able to expertly customize the itinerary based on time, layout, and other constraints. Kosuke was knowledgeable about each of the different points of interest we saw and even knew the shortcuts, best places to take a picture, and even had relationships with the monks at a a few of the shrines we visited. I would highly recommend this tour with Kosuke - especially if your time in Kyoto is limited!

    My wife and I used this service on a day trip from Tokyo to Kyoto. Ko-San was amazing- he was very friendly, flexible, knows the place inside out, and above all his attitude to go above and beyond. Would strongly recommend him without hesitation.

    My husband and I booked this trip as we had a lot of items on our bucket list to complete in Kyoto, some of the items our tour guide Kosuke, had suggested and others were not on his list however he was incredibly accommodating and very efficient to complete all of our requests, we even ran a little over on time and he assured us it was o.k. Kos was born in Kyoto so he was able to have a great conversation with my husband about the history of the Shoguns. His English is exceptional ,We will definitely use this service again we highly recommend using a tour guide in Kyoto like this. Some of the temples are very far apart so by the time you use public transport the day has passed you by. We found this mode of transportation very time efficient. Kos went out of his way to help us buy our tickets at the train station as that was proving to be a little difficult.. Thank you Kos for making our day so enjoyable your the best!!     Mr. Kosuke is an amazing tour guide and very kind. He was accommodating to our requests during the tour. The tour felt very personal and we got to explore popular local areas we would’ve never known about. I highly recommend him and would definitely hire him again!

    My husband and I have traveled to many countries and had many guides. Kosuke was honestly the best guide we have ever had! What an amazing day with an incredible person! He is so knowledgeable - we learned so much! He took us to all the sites we wanted to see and also added in some bonus "hidden treasure" sites we would have never found on our own. If you are going to Kyoto...do not hesitate to book this tour. Having a car is essential in being efficient as the trains/subway stations are often far from the sites. He drove us right to sites VIP style and saved us hours of wasted time walking or changing trains and buses on public transportation. Kosuke is a generous and gracious person who will make your stay in Kyoto unforgettable.

    Kosuke was an excellent guide and quite flexible in terms of itinerary. He basically adjusted the trip according to what I wanted to see, included a couple of local shrines/temples that were breathtaking, and stayed beyond the time allocated to make sure I visited the very last place I was interested in. I ended up having a very memorable day. I would highly recommend him

    Ko-San was an outstanding tour guide. He had a solid plan of things to do, but gave us the option of switching things around to suit our needs. With the car, we were able to see many things in one day that we wouldn’t have been able to if we had only used public transportation. He was born and raised in Kyoto and is very knowledgeable about the local area. He took us to a few places where there were no other foreign tourists, so they were not as crowded as some of the more popular spots. He was an outstanding guide! He has true passion for his profession and genuinely loved telling us about his hometown and country. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting and I would call on him again if I make it back to Kyoto.
