Overview
The seven beautiful sea caves along La Jolla Ecological Reserve can be difficult to explore, even for experienced kayakers. This small-group kayaking tour offers a guide to help small groups glide through the water and take the best routes to the caves. Paddle to all seven caves while keeping an eye out for sea lions, leopard sharks, and the occasional dolphin.

Michael did a great job. We had a lot of fun and it was super informative. Michael would stop and give us facts about the environment, answered questions and was funny. We enjoyed it and would do it again. My only complaint was the bathroom was gross

This was a fabulous kayak adventure. Our guides were very skilled and took their time so everyone could enjoy the scenery, birds and seals. Highly recommend this adventure.

The kayaking was really good. The system to confirm the tickets with the Kayack facility failed to connect the confirmation numbers so we barely made the scheduled event without a last minute conference call to close the deal.

Best Day Ever paddling with my son in La Jolla. Lucas our leader and a few other kayakers in our red group made it so much fun. Lucas took us through the caves and they were magical. The tide was low yesterday so we had no problem getting in and out of the couple caves we were able to enter. It’s the perfect amount of time to explore the ocean caves.

Our guide, Dillon, telling stories about historic and interesting happenings in La Jolla and around the caves. Also the kayaking, the caves, sea lions, and birds around us made it a memorable day!

On our tour date the waves were (unusually) intense but our guides made us feel safe and prepared. They gave us some interesting facts along the way and were pretty funny. We got lucky and saw three dolphins on the way and also baby sea lions inside the cave! It was better than I expected. Thank you Zoey and Cameron!

First time kayaking was a bit tiring but thankfully we didn’t flip (biggest fear about going). Lots of Sea lions ! Time went by incredibly fast! It was a nice way to spend a birthday without spending a lot of money. Tour guides Jacob and Anthony were extremely kind and entertaining.

This was a Anniversary present for my son and his wife. They really enjoyed it. Loved seeing all the seals. Wished they had a little more time in the cave but it was fine. They said they would definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our Kayak Tour of the La Jolla 7 Caves with Kaelen & Brittani! What a team! They guided us safely through the waves & the caves! They were engaging, informative & knowledgeable about ocean Kayaking & the Marine life of LaJolla Reserve. Wish we could have gone into more caves but there were so many Kayakers, Snorklers, swimmers around the caves we were grateful we could go into one. Highly recommend this team & the Bike & Kayak, Inc. tour experience!
