My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The sugar cane was a first for us. Just amazed of the taste. The country ride was a dusty fun ride.😁

Fun time and a good mixture of scenery, between the sugar cane fields, small neighborhoods, and the river. Even though we were on buggies we feel like we got immersed in the culture as much as we could in the brief time we were there. We felt safe and in good hands. Only complaint is that there were 4 of us, 2 of which were able to drive, but they only gave us 1 buggy. But that is a small complaint as i was grateful to not be the one driving through some of the terrain. And one non-complaint, just fact, our buggy broke downm but they quickly switched us over to another one and all was well. All in all a memorable experience with photos from our own personal paparazzi to back it up. Bring dollars or treats for the school children if taking the afternoon tour, and cash for the pictures.

I had a blast. The guides picked me up precisely on the agreed upon time and were helpful and friendly throughout the day. A fun day of racing broken up by a lovely swim in the river.
A must if you like sun and horsepower.
Be careful of sunburns and dust in the eyes (bring a pair of goggles).
The guides speak relatively good English and are some great guys.

The excursion was really fun. There was a bit of a language barrier even though the guide spoke some English. I felt like we missed a lot of the cultural aspect because we couldn’t understand. My favorite part was riding through the sugar cane fields. It felt surreal. The river was beautiful and the tasting experience was great. Be sure to bring scarf and googles or you will have to pay for them there. Also bring cash for purchase of chocolate treats and pictures.
