The tour lacked value. They only highlight or speak to about 5 poignant locations and they speed through the rest of the trip. It is not a leisure boat ride.

We are sorry that you found our tour disappointing. You had problems arriving by taxi, we kindly came to pick you up in Lenno, about 30km away from the meeting point, you wanted to be dropped off again in Lenno but without paying for the drop-off journey and so we took you to the standard meeting point. During the journey we showed you all the main attractions of the lake, but being quite far away and with an hour-long tour it was impossible to stay longer than necessary.

The boat is beautiful and our guide was helpful and personable. The lake and vistas are unreal and it is a wonderful way to see it. It made me want to learn how to sail!

We had booked last minute (today for tomorrow) but they still called us to reschedule our tour to a better timing, so that we could catch the sunset timing. Appreciated that gesture. Our tour guide Andrea was very puncutal and enthusiastic, he was happy to answer any questions we had during the tour. Also the complimentary bottle of Prosecco added a nice touch of bling to the experience. Recommend!

The captain tried moving our booking time up almost two hour earlier than we booked to accommodate her overbooking. We explain that we could not do this as our train didn’t get in to town until 30 minutes prior. The train station switched our outgoing platform and we missed the train by sheer not knowing that’s what happened (first time in Italy). Captain of course told us she if we were not there at 12:15 that time slot would goto another person. We frantically tried to rebook. We couldn’t get on that would get there in time. We asked for a 50% refund and captain said no. Which is her right to do. Just seems that because we weren’t accommodating due to schedule we weren’t going to be afforded that opportunity. We weren’t offered a chance to reschedule with the business. Just $400 gone. So this is a warning of be careful of the company.

It's always sad to read a negative review, however we find this one specious. We asked the customer if he could bring it forward (9:31am), he said no, so we confirmed the time (12.15pm). At 11.10 we were informed that they had missed the train and that they would not be taking the tour. We therefore communicated that unfortunately we would not be able to do the tour after their slot, he then asked us for a 50% refund, when we refused he wrote these exact words (11.29):
Damn
I'll try to make it
We are cancelling
We replied ok
The conversation is over. I notified viator customer service that the customer did not show up.

Although it was cold, I wanted to be on the water while visiting Lake Como! Andre was prompt, accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. The vintage Venetian book was a special treat! The Prosecco and blankets definitely helped with the temperature!! Would definitely recommend this trip!

A wonderful trip in a beautiful wooden boat for my sister's 50th birthday. The weather was amazing too which contributed to the enjoyable experience. Would thoroughly recommend this tour, Andrea was very nice guide.

They Transfered the meeting hour 2hours later due to mechanical problem of the boat. They informed us and we agreed, so we changed our program.
Further 15min. delay on site, because previous customer was not on time. Lack of consistency in a low period ( October) season.
The captain of Riva was polite and make the tour very pleasant.
