10/10 Recommend doing this excursion. We had the MOST WONDERFUL time. Our tour guide, Frederico (and his wife, who coordinates the excursion), was GREAT. He was an excellent mix of educational, entertaining, and funny. We were a laid back group of 5 girls who went for a 40th birthday party (from the USA). It was honestly one of the highlights of our entire trip through Bellagio, Tuscany, Florence, and Milan. Can't say enough great things about that experience. Would do it again TOMORROW! The personal/private experience was just so fabulous. Don't miss this one!

Magical Como Experience

Our family booked a private sail around Lake Como on Frederico & Cristine's beautiful sailboat. They accommodated our change from one day to the day before because rain was expected, and we had a very special need for sunshine: our daughter's engagement! Cristine took care of setting up the proposal, asking them to pose for an Instagram post in front of Villa Balbianello. Then our soon-to-be son-in-law went down on one knee to ask for her hand. Passing boats shouted best wishes, everyone laughed and cried, we broke out the Prosecco and it was all MAGICAL. Frederico and Cristine, you are part of our family's memories forever. Thank you for making our wishes come true! To those thinking about booking, Frederico and Cristine are amazing; you will never forget seeing Como from the water with the sun, sounds, breezes and breathtaking views! So, so worth it!

We had such a lovely experience on Federico’s boat! Firstly, Cristina was wonderful to communicate with. She was so helpful and accommodating as we had to reschedule through bad weather. We were so glad we were able to reschedule as we had a fantastic and relaxing time. Federico gave us options on routes, we trusted his recommendation and enjoyed a tranquil sunset sail. We thank both of them for their flexibility, great communication, kind nature, and great experience. Recommend booking!

Cristina and Frederico were the most helpful, informative hosts. They not only gave us a tour of lake como, we swam and they were about to help us arrange our transport back to Cernobbio. We can’t say enough wonderful things about them both.

If you are thinking about doing this- stop thinking and just book it! We had the absolute best time. The boat is beautiful, theres snacks (mini pizzas!), wine, music, we learned the history about the area, the homes and got to go swimming. Truly the perfect way to spend a few hours. It was wonderful!

What an experience! We had the most amazing afternoon on board and cannot thank our skipper enough for accommodating our specific requests at such a reasonable cost. He was a good laugh, incredibly knowledgeable and a genuinely good bloke! The views were stunning and we can honestly say it was the highlight of our honeymoon. All I can say is Wow. This exceeded our expectations. I booked this some time ago to be a special part of me and my wife’s honeymoon. This was well worth the money. The scenery and lake really speaks for itself, but the crew was incredible as well. I wish I could remember the names of the two gentlemen who ran this ship, but they were super cool and friendly. It was a perfect combination of solitude on a boat and great conversation we had with these gentlemen. If you’re looking for an incredible and laid back experience on one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, this is the place to do it. I’m also convinced that these guys would do anything to make your tour worth it. If I could give it more than five stars I would!

Honestly the best boat trip we have ever been on! We were a group of 6 girls and both skippers were brilliant! We were able to play music, drink & eat… all whilst taking in the breathtaking views of lake como! Gorgeous boat, day and experience. Can’t recommend enough! Good for all ages!

The gals took a trip to Milan and thought we needed to experience lake como while there. This sail boat ride was absolutely amazing! Frederico, was kind and attentive and extremely knowledgeable about como. He provided us with some fresh snacks and Prosecco as well! I highly recommend!!

We had such a great time on this trip around the lake! Frederico showed us all the popular places around the area and stopped to let us swim for a little bit! Had a bottle of champagne and snacks for us as well. Highly recommend!

Off Day on the Lake

Frederico was prompt at the pickup, which was nice so we could enjoy our full time on the lake. What lacked was really his attentiveness. The entire time he was on his phone either talking or texting, steering the wheel with his feet, and so it felt like we were a bother to him. We had to ask him questions to get any information about the area/sights/etc. if we didn’t I suspect we would’ve floated around just listening to music. Was offered water 1/2 way through our sailing after we drank all our water we had brought on board. The Prosecco was warm, and the snacks was literally bread rolls. You get more snacks at the local cafe for free! We didn’t even put the sails up, and while I understand not all days are meant for sailing, the other sail boat on the water had their sails up, so I feel like again, we were just a bother & he wanted to just do the bare minimum. Maybe we got him on an off day, but still… I was quite disappointed in the customer service, and did not think this was worth the price.
