Personally, I love hiking in the forest & mountains. The scenery is beautiful & serene. The trail is pretty well marked, but I would not have wanted to do it the first time without a guide. Plus, we wouldn’t have found the amazing crotto for lunch on our own! Highly recommend, but not for people with any kind of mobility issues as the hike was over 10km & at times challenging to maneuver over the rocks and waterfalls due to recent rainfall.

This was bot a senior friendly hike and was never fully disclosed with a difficulty rating for a novice hiker. It had very dangerous and unsteady areas where you need to walk! The guides were fantastic and one stayed back with me the entire time. Unfortunately my husband lost his footing and rolled down an incline banging his hip and getting scratched and bruised! The local tour operator was not at fault . It was lack of proper wording and warnings in the Viator written description of ibis tour that is to blame! Shame on you. Viator! It is necessary to discriminate in this instance and mention that this is not for every senior citizen! I have used your service for 15 years and this is the first tour that we have had an issue with! You need to put a huge disclaimer, explanation, details about this hike people to recognize its NOT for everyone!

HELLO! THIS IS FOR EVERYONE WHO'S WONDERING "WHY JUST ONE STAR?????"
In this review, Sandy explains how her perception of the service given by Viator was so horrible and how the local guides took special care of her husband and her. Basically, she claims that this experience does not fit elder people. We have a lot of elders taking part in our experiences, of course, they are in good shape and they are used to walking (as specified in the description) for some hours on trail roads, and mainly they understand the meaning of the term "hike". At Slow Lake Como we always do our best to accommodate every request of our guests and always take great care of them, even if (like this case) we had to split the group in two because someone was way slower than the others...
We hope you will take the time to read the description and check if this experience fits your expectations, if you have any doubts just contact us! we are sure you can really enjoy these experiences! ...ah one more thing... if you still have some minutes left, read some other reviews, some people really had some fun...
