We had a wonderful time! Very informative and we learned much about the area and the people who share it from our tour guide Sandi. Our favorite stop was an Amish family’s garden and handicrafts store. We enjoyed meeting the people whose love and care went into the baked and canned goods we bought to take home. Well worth what we spent!

The mist memorable things Ive learned are, seeing their livelihood and meet and greet with some of the people, saw their farms and animals and their way of transportations.

Jamie was a fantastic tour guide. He arrived right on time and knew his stuff. The information shared was new for me and I thought I knew a fair amount about Amish folks. Bring shoes that can get a bit dirty and plan to get in and out of the van a few times.

I really enjoyed the tour guide Mikes dialogue of the history and personal insights of his current interactions with the Amish community. The van ride and communication devices were comfortable. Mikes respect for the Amish community was evident throughout the tour so we did not feel like we were gawking or interrupting the way of life when we were on the various stops at the peoples homes and work sites. The response of the folks that we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. It was a very pleasant experience and exceeded my expectations.

The tour guide Sandy was very good; knowledgeable and combined history with a bit of humor. The stops were well suited to the theme of the tour. Very comfortable transport and the best ice cream ever!! We actually returned home to watch the movie Witness ........lol
