Overview

Perfect for families, this fun-packed, half-day cruise takes you to the beautiful beaches of Costa de Papagayo on a luxury catamaran. In between swimming stops, feast on paella, and take advantage of an open bar stocked with alcohol and soft drinks. Drop anchor on the golden sands of Papagayo, spend hours soaking up the sun, and enjoy the use of kayaks to explore the area in more depth.

Once you are in Puerto del Carmen´s harbor, go to the last deck, where you will find the boat, a catamaran named "Princess cat" with the Lineas Romero logo and the phrase "I love Papagayo".

What To Expect

Armed with sunscreen and bathing suits, board an air-conditioned coach at your Lanzarote hotel—or, if your hotel is not on the list for pickup, make your own way to a meeting point, or Puerto del Carmen, where your luxury catamaran awaits.

Once onboard, receive a short safety briefing as you enjoy a welcome mojito and nibble on Spanish omelet.

Then, set sail toward the southern tip of Lanzarote. During the cruise, enjoy the luxurious facilities of your catamaran, and take advantage of an open bar serving alcoholic and soft drinks.

On arrival at pristine Papagayo Beach, drop anchor and plunge into the Atlantic Ocean. Swim near the boat, sun on the deck, or use kayaks to explore the area further.

Before the catamaran makes its return journey to Puerto del Carmen, enjoy a paella meal, and soak up some final rays. Your day ends with drop-off at your hotel or the meeting point where you were picked up.

Such a great day on board. Nice to have a little swim when we stoped and then to have a go on the kayaks. We met some lovely people with free flowing drinks and great portions of food. Overall, a lovely day, I would definitely recommend as it’s well worth the money.

Brilliant experience, especially as a solo traveller. Easy to chat to anyone on the boat, and made some new friends! Unlimited drinks, awesome steering into the waves for some airtime, even got to see some dolphins! Incredible experience hosted by the fantastic boat crew. Well done!

Awesome experience. Weather was slightly choppy however still great. Food was lovely. Unlimited beer and cocktails. It was actually really beneficial that they dropped us back to Playa Blanca marina so we didn’t need to get a coach back from original drop off .

Wonderful excursion after a long walk

The cruise was lovely and relaxing. The crew were friendly and hardworking. The only downside was that it is quite a long walk from where the coach drops you off to the boat. This isn't mentioned in the description and it might have an effect on people looking to book this excursion. Once you get on the boat though it is a wonderful day.

We had a great time on this large spacious catamaran. Welcome drinks were a nice touch. The trip itself was really smooth and the drinks were not restricted. The selection of drinks were a little limited as a crew member stated it was a family trip not a get drunk aboard trip. The stop off in the bay was lovely and we were free to swim kayak and use the inflatable platform. There were fish to view whilst snorkelling ( bring your own as not included ) The inclusive meal was also great, a choice of paella or pasta which was a generous helping plus fruit for dessert. All in all a great trip for a reasonable fee. Tickets were available on the day at the waterfront if you wanted to increase your numbers.

Waste of money - worst excursion

Worst excursion I’ve ever done. What a waste of £60! On the date we booked our transfer didn’t even pick us up, our hotel reception rang the tour and they said we they didn’t see us waiting at our hotel reception? Wed been waiting an hour! Offered to book us on the tour for the following day. Far too expensive for what it was, we literally sailed to the docking point off the beach, snorkelled (there was 0 fish). Had to buy snorkelling equipment the day before due to this not being included - another waste of money. Dinner was served cold. Don’t waste your money.

It OK but not what it seems!

Not what we expected, the advertising made it seem like a fun party boat, but itvwas a trop on a catermeran with food. The crew didn't involve themselves with the passengers and there was no notification of the dangerous currents that were experienced when swimming of the boat, the crew just laughed when one young lady struggled to get back. All in all its OK but not worth the money.

No Beach or Snorkeling. Just a Boat Ride.

this experience says in the description dock ON the white sands of papagayo. we were never able to access the beach which is the main attraction for me to do this. Snorkeling was also advertised and no snorkeling masks were provided at all. there was food however it was pretty cold. I feel like the description for this tour was purposefully misleading.

If being on an Overcrowded glorified ferry with drunks is your idea of a good time, this is for you. Very cramped with no space to relax or eat and no chance to use kayak as too much demand. One person was served so much alcohol he vomited on the way back to hotel. AVOID.

We were so lucky to spot dolphins on our way back to shore! It was truly magical. But even without that unexpected treat which is obviously never guaranteed, we had a great time - the paella and mojitos were wonderful and plentiful

Awesome crew & guide - attentive and friendly, made you feel welcome as soon as you stepped aboard. Amazing atmosphere and beautiful scenery. A real party feel with music, drinks and some delicious food too. Water activities were excellent, kayaks were especially fun. Excellent value for money and a definite repeat next time I'm back in Lanzarote.
