Best atv excursion!!

Greatest atv excursion ever! Christian was super helpful from the minute we booked up until drop off. Our atv guide Julio was great too, very nice and helpful and took lots of pictures for kid and my family! Five stars and I definitely recommend !!

My sister & I were staying at Riu Palace first week of Apr 2024. We booked the ATV Tour & had a blast!!! Christian was fast to respond when we booked the tour late at night, for the next morning. He did however let us know that riding to 3-4 different beaches would require an extra $50 fee for the distance/transportation from our resort. His van was CLEAN. He was prompt picking us up & even made a few educational stops along the 45 min drive to get to the ATV’s. (Or we could do a shorter tour that excluded beaches for the same price we already paid.) We opted for the extra $50 to get the tour we wanted… and so glad we did! We expected the tour to be ‘group’ but it was actually private. Our tour guide was Julio. And while he was more quiet, he was very friendly & on top of taking pictures at every stop, so my sister & I have great memories to keep for a lifetime. Bring your sunscreen & be prepared to get dirty!!!

I was very excited for this ATV experience. In the end… it was just ok. The tour guide didnt have a whole lot to say at first. Not super friendly. But we headed out and into the jungles. I was surprised and thrilled to see that a lot of our driving through the wooded areas was literally driving IN the river. I figured we would cross a river maybe, but we actually drove the river a lot which was awesome! Spotted some monkeys and wildlife and the guide opened up a bit telling us about each animal. After leaving the jungle area, we drove through a lot of little towns and such, but we had no clue where we were or what towns they even were. At one point we were just driving and driving along streets and it was honestly just getting boring. We dont even have any pics of us cuz the tour guide never even offered to take any. I have a cpl i shot myself real quick in passing but even just 1 family pic of us all woulda been great. There are tons of ATV tours out here… but im sorry to say id go with a different one if i ever came back.

Great experience with this company and we didn’t want the tour to end. We got picked up and dropped off to and fro hotel. They took us through dirt roads and stopped by 2 beach coves that were very secluded. Highly recommended and it was just me and my husband.

The waterfall was AMAZING!! I was nervous on the ride to the waterfall because we have never rode ATV’s before and we went through water. However, on the way back we were full speed through the water! Christian and our tour guide was amazing. They even got video footage of us! Top Tier Trip

Confirming the booking was a little bit confusing because we had to change the date but everything else was great. We didn’t get to go to the beaches which is why it lost a star was really looking forward to that. Wasn’t given the option if we wanted to ride together or separately but it was a great first time experience for myself, my boyfriend has done atvs before and also enjoyed the tour. Pick up and drop off went smoothly. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to see the more local side of Guanacaste.

Unbelievable experience getting to see the jungle up close and personal on an ATV, with numerous river crossings. Additionally, it was very interesting to see some points of interest in the local village, Nuevo Colon, and the larger nearby town, Sardinal. Fantastic tour guide in Miguel who was extremely friendly and shared a lot of knowledge along the way. Couldn’t recommend this more!
