      Great tour our guide walked us through the main square, a museum with pre-Incan and Incan artifacts, and the catacombs. Along the way he shared countless amazing facts about the city; its architecture and history. We even got to try the very delicious Peruvian churro!

      Booked this last minute tour less than 24 hours before tour and everything ran so smoothly! Pick up time at location was superb and the tour itself was so much fun! I learned so much, loved his energy, and felt connected and safe from beginning to end! This was the best tour to get a quick taste of what Lima was all about in a short amount of time. THANK YOU!!

      Time and money well spent for a quick tour of the historical center of downtown Lima. My tour guide, Mario, was really well-versed with the rich history of the region, and speaks perfect English, which definitely enhanced my experience as a non-Spanish speaker. Highly recommended!

      I was travelling by myself and booked this tour - I would highly recommend it. I had a lovely city tour, which included an overview of the architecture of the city, as well as the catacombs, which were amazing!

      This was a great tour to see the main sights of downtown whilst also getting to see the 'catacombs' which are well set out for someone wanting to see something out of the ordinary Marcos was a amazing guide and helped tailor the trip to suit my needs.

      This was an amazing tour, I agree with others that the title doesn't do it justice. You walk an area of historic Lima that really deserves some explanation, our tour guide was an absolute delight. Also the churro we had was ridiculous. You might enter the octagon just to get another.

      This tour offered by Peruvian Worldview originally caught my attention because of the word "catacombs" in the title (I love all things mysterious). After experiencing it I must say I highly, HIGHLY recommend it!! My guide was Athenas and she impressed me throughout the tour from the start till the finish. The pick-up from my hotel was punctual, courteous, and in a very comfortable vehicle. She then introduced herself and her background and soon enough we arrived at the exciting historical center of Lima. I won't repeat here the long list of tourist attractions that we visited; suffice to say the highlights of the day were the catacombs at the San Francisco Church and Monastery; the introduction to Peruvian food, including an actual sampling of their delicious churros; and the various presentations made by Athenas. Those presentations weren't simply explanations of the buildings or things that you're looking at; among them were sprinkled fascinating historical stories and personal anecdotes, with an almost magical ability to, well, fascinate you! After all, that is what an excursion is all about, to have fun and be fascinated. Athenas is a walking encyclopedia of all things related to Peruvian history and culture, and a true, true specialist in the catacombs in Lima. Listening to her talks, I do not feel I need a better expert, and I doubt I'll find one. If the success of a tour is measured by how much the audience wants to come back for more, then I'll say that I'm eagerly waiting to return and experience more of what Lima has to offer.

      The trip was amazing from the from the beginning to the end. The history of the buildings and the churches, and the catacombs were great. Marcos was the best tour guide and very knowledgeable and allowed for questions.

      Without a doubt the best thing we did in Lima. Jean Paul blew us away with his knowledge, passion and also just his general kind/chatty personality. We learnt so much but in a fun way and it felt like we were getting a glimpse of the real Lima (past and present) Couldn't recommend the tour enough, you won't regret it!

      We really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Sofia was so great, friendly and informative. We started in the main city center of Lima. There was a protest going on at the time, so we moved out of some of that area. We weren't too worried, we were informed there are protests going on almost every day. This would make sense why there were so many police in the square, it did seem like a routine occurrence. We visited soooo many UNESCO world heritage buildings along the tour. Our tour was on a Saturday afternoon, so there were many locals out enjoying the area as well. If you want less crowded, schedule it during the week. We visited St Francois Cathedral, which has the catacombs underneath. We couldn't take photos, but it was such an amazing place to visit. We also got to go to a chocolate shop and stopped for churros. If you did this area by yourself, you would miss all the knowledge that our guide told us about. I would highly recommend the tour.
