Pickup details

We pick up in ALL of Miraflores, Barranco and San Isidro. If your location doesn't appear, send us a message with the hotel name and address and we'll add it to your booking. The evening before your tour, you will be added to a WhatsApp group between 7-8pm. We will share the exact pick up time and tips/recommendations for the tour. Your pick up time is between 4:30-5:20AM depending on your district: 1. San Isidro - 4:30AM 2. Miraflores - 4:45AM 3. Barranco - 5:50AM Please let us know where you are staying and we will gladly pick you up and drop you off. If your outside of our pick up/drop off districts, please meet your Lima Experience Tour guide between 4:45-5:00AM at McDonalds Kennedy Park - Miraflores.

George was an excellent guide. We were picked up on time. The bus was comfortable. The trip was well organized. We ordered our meals on the bus and they were ready for us when we arrived. The lunch at the winery was in a lovely outdoor location. The boat trip was very informative. We saw seals and lots of birds. The best part was the sand dunes. Although it was strenuous to walk up the dunes at our age (71 and 75) we did it! So much fun on the dune buggies. Many did they optional boarding on the sand. George took great pictures of us at sunset. A fabulous day! Highly recommend! 5 stars!

Best tour from Lima to Huacachina 🙌🏻

Nilo, our guide made this a wonderful experience. He had everything on time so we could seize the full day. Everything since the boat tour in Paracas, the delicious Pisco tasting in Ica and visiting the Huacachina was really great. I had a lot of fun with the Dune buggy & sandboarding even it was my first time doing them.

Not for the faint of heart but so fun!

George was an excellent guide. This is a LONG tour (like 15-17 hrs I think?) and I think 4 hours on bus each way but we had so much fun!!! The island tour was cool. We got to see lots of birds and a few sea lions! The vineyard was lovely. We had a great meal and then a pisco tasting. Then came the adventurous part. If you are scared of roller coasters, maybe just sit this part out and tour the lovely village around the oasis. The dune buggying was like a 2 hour roller coaster except you didn’t know where the track was!!! I was a little terrified but it was a blast! I almost didn’t do the sand boarding but so glad I did!

An Amazing Fun-Packed Day

We had an amazing time seeing the wildlife on the islands off the shores of Paracas, the pisco tasting, the desert oasis near Huacachina, and surfing the sand dunes we reached via dune buggies. It’s amazing in hindsight that we were able to do all of this in just one day, it makes for a long day but an absolutely worthwhile one. Our tour guide, Fernando, was absolutely wonderful and personable and kept us engaged despite having to give all of the information in both English and Spanish. All in all it was a truly wonderful day and a highlight of our entire trip to Peru!

What an epic day this was!!! Full of activities, adrenaline and fun. Its a very loooong day (5am-11:30pm) but totally worth it. Fernando our tour guide was amazing, always happy to help. We had a whats app group so you had all the info on hand when needed. Lunch was tasty traditional food. And the adventure at Huacachina is something you wont forget easily!

This Trip was absolutely amazing. If you go to Peru, you have to do this trip. Why this trip exactly, you ask ? Because of the amazing Tour Guide Fernando, he was so nice and brought in the middle of the morning a lot of positive vibes in to the room while everyone else was tired 😁 I loved this dude. The dune buggy rides through the sand dunes were amazing! Mad Max on a rollercoaster! Loved the wildlife of the Paracas boat ride. The bus ride makes for a very long day, but worth it. Be prepared to sleep or bring some Netflix movies on your phone. The wine tasting was ok, and I can see the need for a good stop for lunch. The Huacachina area is a wonderful, surprising oasis. Would recommend this tour!

Where do I start… Fernando the tour guide is amazing and makes a huge difference on how the tour goes! His kindness and positivity radiates through out the whole experience! It’s a very well organized experience. He makes sure to let us know exactly what to expect, where we will eat (what options there are), leisure time, restroom break, etc. I will say this, please keep in mind that this is not a walk in the park like mentioned, you need to have the physical strength to walk up the oasis in the initial part! We enjoyed every single part of this experience, this is something that you CANNOT skip out on or else you’ll regret it!! Thanks Fernando!!!

This is a must do experience while you’re in Lima! It’s almost impossible to pick out a highlight because the entire day was amazing but if I had to pick one it would be our guide George. The fact that he is fluent in both English and Spanish is a huge bonus but not even why I’m mentioning him specifically. His knowledge of each stop is incredible, he has a great sense of humor and he makes time for every single person on the tour with you. He knows everyone by name, is patient and you can feel the pride he has for this country. He made each and every stop so fun! - Seeing penguins in the wild…awesome. - Watching baby sea lions playing on the beach…cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time. - Pisco tasting and the education behind it…fascinating. - The dune buggy ride to the top of the sand mountain…exhilarating. - Sand surfing down the dunes…SO FUN! - The sunset at the end…absolutely breathtaking. This will be the best money you’ll ever spend. 5 stars isn’t enough so I’ll rate it accordingly - it’s 10 🌟

This was an excellent all-day tour and worth the money. We got to see parts of Peru that would be pretty difficult to get to without a tour guide. I felt like we spent enough time at each location, and it didn't feel rushed. Our guide, George, was knowledge and made sure we maximized our time by pre ordering meals and giving us a heads up for bathroom breaks. He also took photos/videos throughout the day and shared them with the group. Additionally, we had a good group of people on the tour to make the experience even better. The dune buggys and sand boarding was so much fun! The views in Huacachina were amazing and being able to watch the sunset was a bonus. The bus ride is long, but the seats are comfortable so you can sleep in between stops. The bus also had USB ports to charge your devices.

Fernando was an amazing guide, he was super organised, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the history of Peru! Highly recommend this day trip, it’s very long but you get to go to many of the main sights and the highlight was definitely the dune buggy and sand board (on the belly)! The lunch provided was also tasty and large portions. Hotel pick up and drop off was well organised and Fer kept us updated throughout the day on what to expect - thank you so much!

WOWOWOW! Cannot recommend more. Of all the countries I have traveled and tours I have been on, this definitely takes the number 1 spot. Such a unique experience. A full-day covering a lot of ground, seeing some of the most fantastic views and meeting amazing people. The tour was made even better by our incredible guide, George. I am not sure it would have been the same without him! He was so knowledgeable, fun, kind. He handled everything so seamlessly. From being on top of communication, to handling our food orders, to making sure everything was perfect. It seemed like everyone knew him at each stop, which I think made it so we had the best options each place! Elvis, our driver, was great as well. He got us everywhere safely and on time all day! In the busy Peru traffic, he handled us all with great care. The dune buggy/sand boarding in Huacachina was one of the most amazing experiences that I will never forget. Watching sunset in a Peruvian desert was such a special and magical experience. Cannot recommend this tour enough. Just book it!
