Liverpool by Taxi was a Tour to Remember!

My husband and I were on a British Isle Cruise with Princess Cruises Sept. 23, 2022. We had been to Liverpool with a Cruise in 2019 and took a Beatles Tour through the Cruise Ship and was very disappointed! This time we decided to book a private tour with Viator (we had great tours with Viator in the past). I am so happy we did. Our tour guide, Geoff, met us at the cruise terminal and gave us a tour of a lifetime! He was so interested in showing us exactly what we wanted to see. His coach was clean and comfortable and he played the best Beatles music the whole time. The only way this would have been more fun is if we had a few more friends to share the fun with us. Do not miss out! Book this Tour and ask for Geoff as your guide!

Our tour guide John was one of the best guys I’ve ever had and all my travels. Very knowledgeable and very good at what he does. I would recommend this tour for everyone. I’d definitely recommend John. I have taken the bus tour in town but it doesn’t even come close.

Great tour with David from Fab four tours. 3-1/2 hours was enough time to see the highlights of the Beatles life in Liverpool. David was full of stories and background on the Beatles early lives here. Very informative and fun to hear. Great day!

This tour was a present for my husband’s birthday as he’s a huge Beatles fan and he loved it! It was a fantastic experience from the moment Tony picked us up from our hotel to dropping us off again. Tony really is a font of Beatles knowledge and is such good company too. We enjoyed every minute of this comprehensive tour of the Beatles journey along with other sites of interest as we traveled around Liverpool and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Seeing their childhood homes was fantastic! At St. Peter’s Community Hall, we actually met and took pictures with two original members of the Quarry Men! They were playing there for the 65th Anniversary of Paul meeting John. Absolute thrill!

We enjoyed our tour. Our guide was very patient and a very good story teller. We enjoyed seeing the childhood homes of the fave four and the places mentioned in their songs. Now I can visualize the places when I listen to their songs. It was a dream trip for my husband who’s a Big Beatles fan.

Started off horrible with Viator-Brit Icon Tours providing wrong directives and bad Communication. HOWEVER, when we finally connected to our Tour Guide: Peter, with Fab4Tours the day was saved and absolutely FANTASTIC. Peter was so knowledgeable, kind, and classy. He flipped around a terrible start to a perfect experience. If you can ever book this great guide, do it!!

Here I am, an ardent BEATLES fan, thinking I knew everything there is about the Fab Four: How wrong I was! Jake my tour guide for this adventure, or should I say quest, managed to school us for three hours and then some on the most detailed histories and settings that were the backdrop for the origin of the Beatles. At virtually all of our stops with Jake, my wife and I couldn't help but break into tears of joy at having seen all of the iconic places we visited and the stories behind those places( Penny Lane for one) . I am actually digging out pebbles and debris from the soles of my trainers from when I stood next to Eleanor Rigby"s grave site and very carefully bagging them and putting it together with the 45 of the same name!!! Jake was extremely sensitive to our needs and ensured we had taken enough photos of everything we had seen. We wouldn't have taken this tour any other way with any other company!

Brilliant trip! Picked up from our hotel by Phil and had a great three hours visiting lots of interesting places relating to the Fab Four - and when we weren’t being told lots of interesting facts by Phil we listened to some of their music in the taxi.
