You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Esteban was incredible. My 13 yr old nephew left inspired and we all learned a lot. Without a tour I don’t think we would have known what we were looking at most of the time! Also a lot of fun facts about the observatory and fun tips for later.

Angelica was awesome at explaining everything we were looking at and guiding us through this fabulous collection of astronomy brilliance. Well worth the price for the guided tour! The planetarium show was expertly narrated and visually extraordinary. In itself, well worth the extra admission of $10.

Oscar was our tour guide and he was great! This tour is well worth what you pay for. The observatory is amazing but let’s be fair, the museum is free for a reason. A tour brings it to life and we have Oscar to thank for it.

Parking is so bad you must arrive one hour early

Only saying that "Parking can be difficult at the Observatory." does not help give a clear picture of what guests should be doing. They don't state how early to arrive and what a good time frame is to make it on time. We thought 25 minutes before meeting would be fine but it turned out to be 45 minutes since going up the mountain road just to get to the parking area before even having to park down a mountain to hike back up just to get there would take a whole 45 minutes. Our family of five arrived 10 minutes late and by then they were long gone.

The evening tour with Oscar was great! Amazing views and interesting new knowledge about space, as we toured the observatory! Definitely would go again and recommend to anyone traveling solo or with a small group.

You can spend all day here! So amazing! Give yourself plenty of time for traffic & parking! It was horrendous on the day we went! Thank God Viator was willing to accommodate us on a later tour! Our Tour Guide Barry was the bomb! So knowledgeable & fun! Pack a lunch and relax on the lawn! This was an incredible day & adventure! Watch the movie in the done too! It’s magical!

The observatory is beautiful and has lots of nice itens to see and tons of information. The downstairs models based on the planets actual sizes were very nice. And the wall with all the stars and galaxy as well. Our guide (Estevan) was very knowledgeable about, well, everything in the observatory. He made the visit very fun and informative. Made us wanna come back and see everything else once again. Loved to hear the Leonard Nimoy Horizon Theater story, all the facts about the wall of jewelry and facts about the Tesla coil and what we could see at the observatories if we went during the day (we went at the end of the afternoon). Also gave great tips for the rest of the trip. 10/10
